I have been switching brow places for years up until 3 years ago when I went to Kada at Bombay Beauty Loft for threading. Honestly, she is the best I have been to because she is consistent and really understands brow shape for your specific facial features. Then over a year ago, I decided to get my eyebrows feathered (micro-blading) with Kada and she did an amazing job. Took me through the process, was very clean and almost pain free. Kada works miracles! I recently moved to Calgary and was so worried about finding someone to do my brows that I just ended up doing them myself and completely messing them up. I let them grow in for a couple weeks but they looked so bad that I ended up taking a chance and hoping Kada would be able to fix what I had done. Kada did a wonderful job!!!! i had my makeup and hair done by her for my wedding reception. I can not explain how pleased i was with her work. Even though i booked her very last minute, she was able to squeeze me in for a very detailed consultation and she came in on a stat holiday to get me ready. She was very sweet and answered all my questions. I recommend Kada to any bride who wants to have a fusion of traditional yet modern makeup and hair! After reading several reviews praising her eyebrow shaping skills, I was so excited for my appointment with Kada! Unfortunately, when I arrived, she scanned me up and down (with a look that seemed like disgust??) and remarked, "Rakhi will take care of you." Not even a smile or hello; I was very confused! She may have been in the midst of a bad day, but it was still extremely rude-- not to mention that I specifically booked my appointment with her. I waited a whole week to get an appointment with her, as she was unavailable on the schedule until today. $19 for awful customer service (the only person working there with wonderful customer service was Rakhi) and to be brushed off by the owner was definitely not worth it. It's too bad, because I was hoping to discuss microblading with her. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend Bombay Beauty Loft to any of my friends after the treatment that I received! Read Less

I have been going to Bombay Beauty Loft to get my eyebrows threaded for about a year now. When I first started going there I had completely plucked my eyebrows and ruined the shape. Wonderful! I've had threading done before in Vancouver and, while I find it to be more painful then waxing, I got amazing results every time. Moving back to Calgary, I haven't found anything close to what I had back in Vancouver, until I found BBL. Kada was so friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. My new brow place! I've never had an aesthetician spend so much time and care on my brows. Came here after growing my brows for 2 mos after another salon waxed mine way too thin. The lady was very attentive to my caution and concern of going too thin again. She explained each step of the process as she did it, which gave me assurance. I liked that she said she'd go a bit thicker to be on the safe side, show me after the first brow, so we can adjust as needed. The place is also clean with a very modern and feminine ambience. I will def be back. I rated 4 stars bc it's on the pricier end of eyebrow threading/waxing but I think still well worth it! Read Less

What started out as convenience, (I live nearby) has turned into fabulous. Bombay Beauty Loft is a real find. Kada has now been threading and tinting my brows for the past year and they look better than ever. I've also been getting both microderm abrasion facials which LITERALLY make my skin glow, and laser hair removal - because, really, shaving sucks. And you can be tan! My sister and I got our eyebrows threaded today.  Kada took the time to show us how to fill in our brows using a wax base and shadow.  We bought an amazing eyebrow kit there that came with a brush as well, and can't wait to try it.  Pritma and Kada went above and beyond explaining other procedures they offer as well.  They were so sweet, friendly and informative.  Even though we come from the south end of the city, we will be back soon!  I have been to many day/cosmetic spas and this is by far the best!  Loved it there. Fantastic service with an intimate feel. I've had my eyebrows tattooed by Kada and they look amazing. Hailan is a perfectionist when it comes to nails and does the most incredible 3D artwork on them. I went into Bombay Beauty Loft for the first time today to get my eyebrows threaded, and I just loved it! Initially I had some trouble finding it, being new to the area, so I was beyond appreciative when they stayed on the phone with me until I knew exactly where I was headed. I was running 15 minutes late by the time I made it, and they were so wonderful and understanding, allowing me to keep my appointment. I believe I had Harmeet, and she was such a sweetheart! She knew exactly what she was doing, and my eyebrows have never looked so good! I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for a couple of years now, and it's so hard to find someone who will not only do it correctly, but do it well. And she, by far, surpassed that. Hailan Q has done my nails twice at BBL and I have been very impressed both times.  She is now my go to nail gal!  Her work is meticulous and she doe beautiful 3d art.  All her products are top notch and she is a perfectionist which shows in the end product.  Cleanliness is without question.The shop itself is clean and bright and everyone I've met working there is very friendly and professional.  I'm very tempted to give a try on the lash extensions next!Also of note, the shop is located inside/beside the hairsalon Cutting Room Floor.  I have not had my hair done there but you can hear the gals in the shop and they always sound like they are having fun with their customers.  Too bad I'm not in the market for a new stylist. I bought a $9 voucher for eye brow threading online. I called to make an appointment, they were able to get me in right away. The place was easy to get to, but parking was a little bit tight in this busy intersection of 14 st and Kensington road. The store shares and entrance with a hair salon, so after you walk in its on the left hand side. The place is small, but all new and nicely renovated, bright and white. The lady brought me to a private room, asked me for my preferences, she was quick and did a very nice job (not the chatty type, her name was Hamood?). She gave me the mirror for me to double check at the end. I got a business card with a list of their services, normal eye brow threading price is $18 (which is reasonable compared to other shops I have been to) I will be returning to this place. Read Less
