While at the salon this past Saturday, I decided to purchase some product for my hair.  I decided not to use one of the items and took it back today (Thursday) for a refund.  I was told that there are no refunds given; this particular product is final sale only.  There are no signs anywhere that indicate this "policy"; it seems to be verbal only.   Had I been told this when I was purchasing the product, I would not have bought it...but  absolutely nothing was said about this being a final sale, nor did I get a receipt (lesson learned on my part).  The lady who was "helping" me talked to the manager who told her that I could not be given a refund.  I asked to speak with the manager (on the phone) and he said that I cannot return a product four days later that has been used.  I told him that I didn't use the product at all.  He said the policy of no returns/final sale is industry wide.  When I asked why there are no signs indicating this, he couldn't provide an answer.  He again said that I cannot return a product that I have used.  I said, for the second time, that I had not used the product at all.  The lady helping me also said that she could see the seal and that the product had not been used.  Finally, the manager agreed that I could have my money back.     So...my point of all this is:  1)  there should be signage indicating "final sale / no refunds"; 2) they should always provide a receipt, even if one is not asked for; 3) they shouldn't be so unaccommodating and presume that the product has been used without confirming first.  Will I go back to my stylist?  Perhaps.  If I do though, I will be more careful to ask about returns. Brittany was fantastic. She did exactly what I asked, and she was very nice. I love my haircut! I'll be going back for sure. This is the only salon I've gone to where I left happy. This is the type of salon where when you ask for a little bit off; they take a little bit off. The whole crew is friendly and helpful. Always grabbing you magazines and water and sometimes even snacks. They use great products for your hair and give you tips on treating it so it will grow healthier and stronger. Price is slightly high but you will never be happier with what you get. I've never gone anywhere else after coming here or even thought about it. Highly, highly, highly recommended. Read Less
