Came in for one nail to be fixed and no one was there and she refused to do a 5 minute service knowing I was just travelling through the city. Horrible lady.

wish i would have looked at the reviews before going here. We're visiting from Australia and decided to have pedi's done after a hike. We thought the price was a bit steep, but hey, we're in banff. The pedi was below minimum. No conversation whatsoever with the staff, no music, nothing. It was quiet and awkward. I've had better pedis for half the price.

absolutely terrible. prices were through the damn roof for atrocious looking nails. they charged us atleast forty dollars extra and made my best friend bleed because they were so rough with the tools....

So I've been to this place 3 times in total now and frankly the only reason why is because it's the cheapest one in town for Shellac (moving from Toronto makes you surprised about the prices here!) An...
So I've been to this place 3 times in total now and frankly the only reason why is because it's the cheapest one in town for Shellac (moving from Toronto makes you surprised about the prices here!) Anyway, the first 2 times I went Ellie was still there and, although I didn't get my nails done by her, she was the only guest friendly person working there. Now, after a break of 2 months from this place I went again because the other places were full for the day and it was necessary to go due to a broken nail. So when I arrived I honestly and genuinely explained why I haven't been for a while (being too harsh with the nails was one of them!). It seemed like she understood it until I sat down and started doing my nails. Yes, still too harsh. And not only with the nails, also with the hands/fingers. It seriously felt like a punishment. Also she didn't seem to understand what I asked for as in the shape because she kept doing it wrong. Also, next to that she was wearing a mouth cover. Not that that's a bad thing but if I tell you that I don't understand/hear what you're saying because of that, don't be mad. It was a 40mins of the most frustrating nailservice I have ever had! I will never again return to this place! I'd rather pay at least 20bucks more for a wonderful and relaxed service elsewhere.

I wouldn't recommend Q Nails in Banff. They do a good job except they don't speak English, they don't have the colours you ask for, AND when you ask for coffin shaped nails you get extremely sharp poi...
I wouldn't recommend Q Nails in Banff. They do a good job except they don't speak English, they don't have the colours you ask for, AND when you ask for coffin shaped nails you get extremely sharp pointy ones, oh and if you call and get quoted $65 expect to pay $89.25. Plus they're very aggressive with you while doing your nails. — feeling irritated.

As a local in the Valley it is so nice to find affordable prices with quality work. Ellie is extremely sweet despite the other reviews, I can honestly say my daughter and I have had exceptional service. Ellie is absolutely amazing! She shapes the nails perfectly, strong apex, no chipping, no lifting, not even on my 11 year old daughters nails! I highly recommend their services!! They are a jewel in the Valley.

As a local in the Valley it is so nice to find affordable prices with quality work. Ellie is extremely sweet despite the other reviews, I can honestly say my daughter and I have had exceptional service. Ellie is absolutely amazing! She shapes the nails perfectly, strong apex, no chipping, no lifting, not even on my 11 year old daughters nails! I highly recommend their services!! They are a jewel in the Valley.
