This place sucks! They only have 1 ok technician - but she can't do shellac properly. Shellac is supposed to last 2+ weeks, but when they do it, it just starts to lift from the back and then anytime...
This place sucks! They only have 1 ok technician - but she can't do shellac properly. Shellac is supposed to last 2+ weeks, but when they do it, it just starts to lift from the back and then anytime I run my fingers through my hair, my hair gets caught in between the shellac and my nail- so then I have to just peel the shellac off. The last straw was 2 weeks ago, I went in to get a mani/pedi in preparation for a trip I was taking, I get it done on a Saturday and by Wednesday the shellac lifted from 2 of my fingernails. I had to peel it off and just paint my nails myself. What a true waste of money. The people working there are incompetent and the service isn't all that good and the overall results clearly demonstrate what a waste of money it is to get anything done there. I will NEVER go back to them!

I had a horrible experience here while I got a shellac manicure and gel nails. The young girl that was in charge of my pedicure was nice, but scraped off too much skin on my heel, causing it to sting and now it hurts to walk on. Then the older lady who was in charge of doing my nails was an absolute train wreck. She was outright rude and cranky, and her work was very rough. At one point I was looking at my one nail since it wasn’t filed evenly so it looked crooked. Where I told her, she kept on filing the opposite side to make it even more crooked. When I tried to politely show her what I wanted she kept rolling her eyes and gave me attitude. On my other fingers she filed too close to the skin and now they are either bleeding on the cuticle beds or they are super tender. There are so many places to get your nails done in Airdrie and Calgary, I would never recommend this place.

If I could give it a lower star rating I would, this place is awful. I went because my normal nail place could not fit me in and I needed a fill really bad, 2 of my nails broke so they put a tip on them, the first tip they put on wasn’t even attached to my nail and I told them that isn’t healthy for my nail as water and stuff would get under it, they were very certain that their product is the best and my nail would be fine, obviously the next couple days that nail fell off because it WASNT ATTACHED. Then the second tip they put on is glued complety upward, they do not know how to properly apply tips and that’s literally the bass of the nail, never ever going back and never recommending them. (I tried to attach a photo but I can not figure out how 🙄)

Not only did they mess up my nails but when I told them what I actually wanted from the start the girl said it was to late and they had to do it her way and proceeded to embarrass me by saying it's my fault and I should know how to do nails myself and I would have caught the mistake. I got no discount for their mess up and I ended up leaving for over priced nails that I hate. The pedicure was nice though. Long story short over priced not worth the trip.

Have been going for regular fills and pedis for almost a year. Technician had a problem getting a new foil color to take. Since she had 3 clients waiting I settled for a dark blue foil that she already had tried in one finger. I called to explain that I decided that color would not work for a formal event I have on this weekend. She said she would do a color change for full price .. $25.00. I should mention I tip 20% bringing my bill to over $160 almost every 4 weeks. It was not my fault the color I chose didn't work.
I feel she could have at least met me half way?? This is not about the money...it is about being valued as a customer. Very dussapointsd.

Went there with a wedding party (yes we had a reservation) it was not a big wedding party, there was only a few of us. One of us had to sit for half an hour while me and the bride got our pedis started, while another person took walk in after walk in. Eventually the person who was working on my nails left to take a walk in and the same thing happened to the bride. Took wayy too long for a mani and pedi we left without getting a full mani and pedi which is what we had asked for and paid for. It was a complete rip off. Walk ins are obviously more important than people that actually book appointments.

Had appointment for delux mani/pedi. Was abandoned without a word during my pedi and left to wait for over 45 minutes in the wax. My "deluxe manicure" consisted of a rushed nail trim (literally skipped everything else) and a poor shellac application. Was still charged full price for services not even rendered. Everything about this experience was terrible. My nails looked so bad for my wedding. The rest of the ladies in the bridal party received the same treatment, unfortunately. I would never ever return here. Boy did I bet on the wrong pony for such an important event.

One of the best local nail salons. The staff are all so friendly. Cathy is great for starting up a conversation and yet it does not distract her. She does beautiful designs on nails. The cleanliness of this salon made all the difference to me. If something is dropped it is immediately washed/thrown out... The chairs are wiped down with a lysol wipe after each client and all the tools cleaned in an autoclave. Will definitely be going back!

Beyond pissed they laugh at people when they try to explain why your 20 minutes late AS you called 10 mins before ur apt telling them you will be late. Poor customer service.

Worst manicure. They flew through the manicure in 10 minutes. And the shellac polish started chipping after not even a week. I wouldn't go back. Waste of money.

They also have a loyalty card which will get you a free refill after your 20th visit. I think this is a great idea however I do wish it was less than 20 visits as it could take some time before being able to redeem the reward. 4/5

I've been here a couple times already and they are amazing! My nails are super thin and they suggested Gel Nails, and I've been loving it since! I've never had a problem with my nails chipping or anything coming off. They truly know their stuff! Not to mention that all the staff are welcoming and friendly. They take the chance to get to know more about you. And remember you. I've gone to other nail salons and Airdrie and this is THE best one! My go-to place for my manicures.../pedicures. I've been a loyal customer since they first opened but the last 3 visits I've had, they've made me wait 15+ minutes despite booking an appointment. Which I specifically do so that I don't have to wait. With a 1 year old, it's rare to get time away and I think if you have someone booked for 430, you aren't going to take a walk in at 425. I walked away after 20 minutes of sitting there. I'll be finding a new nail salon going forward as they've lost my business.

This place sucks! They only have 1 ok technician - but she can't do shellac properly. Shellac is supposed to last 2+ weeks, but when they do it, it just starts to lift from the back and then anytime I run my fingers through my hair, my hair gets caught in between the shellac and my nail- so then I have to just peel the shellac off. The last straw was 2 weeks ago, I went in to get a mani/pedi in preparation for a trip I was taking, I get it done on a Saturday and by Wednesday the shellac lifted from 2 of my fingernails. I had to peel it off and just paint my nails myself. What a true waste of money. I had a horrible experience here while I got a shellac manicure and gel nails. The young girl that was in charge of my pedicure was nice, but scraped off too much skin on my heel, causing it to sting and now it hurts to walk on. Not only did they mess up my nails but when I told them what I actually wanted from the start the girl said it was to late and they had to do it her way and proceeded to embarrass me by saying it's my fault and I should know how to do nails myself and I would have caught the mistake. I got no discount for their mess up and I ended up leaving for over priced nails that I hate. The pedicure was nice though. Long story short over priced not worth the trip.

Since she had 3 clients waiting I settled for a dark blue foil that she already had tried in one finger. I called to explain that I decided that color would not work for a formal event I have on this weekend. She said she would do a color change for full price .. $25.00. My "deluxe manicure" consisted of a rushed nail trim (literally skipped everything else) and a poor shellac application. Was still charged full price for services not even rendered. One of the best local nail salons. The staff are all so friendly. Cathy is great for starting up a conversation and yet it does not distract her. She does beautiful designs on nails. The cleanliness of this salon made all the difference to me. If something is dropped it is immediately washed/thrown out... The chairs are wiped down with a lysol wipe after each client and all the tools cleaned in an autoclave. Will definitely be going back!
