Gemma and the ladies at Central Nails and Beauty are lovely. Their quality of work is very high. I've done both acrylic and SNS and every time my nails are fantastic. No lifting. The shop is clean and spacious and their prices are very reasonable .... almost cheap compared to others. If only google reviews allowed for a negative 5 review ecause this place definitely deserves a very low review. It was disgusting and awful service! I have never been more disappointed in my nails than I am currently. My nails look nothing like the samples they had on display. On top of that, they're bumpy, uneven, my cuticles are cut up from their instruments, and there is glue residue and acrylic around the outer edge of my nails and fingers. Also they charge an additional $5 to soak off your already on SNS. When I questioned the owner, she said I could buy acetone for $7 to remove it at home, then come in to get them redone. So she's basically telling her clients to do the hardest part at home, so they can just do the nails, but still have te audacity to change full price?! On top of that the owner recognised me from 5 years ago, and now I realise why I never went back. Let's hope with further negative reviews, they'll be forced to reconsider their charges & services, or shut down. Read Less

Absolutely awful service and they over charged me. When I queried it they refused to to adjust this even though I had confirmed the price on arrival, saying I should have known removal was an additional cost. The nails them selves where a rush job and I still don't have even nails after asking them to fix the shape quite a few times. Read Less

The owner and her staff are exceptional. Always professional and take your appointment times very efficiently. The quality of the polishes are exquisite and my gel manicures and pedicures last for weeks PAST a retouch time. Would not go anywhere else...EVER!! :-) Read Less

Went in for a manicure on a Sunday, the woman who started on my nails filed them down but they were different lengths & uneven, so I had to ask her to straighten them up, she did (only slightly better) then rushed when applying polish so it looked messy, once all coats were dry she then proceeded to file my nails again. Needless to say the shellac only lasted 3 days before it started to chip off - was really disappointed with this considering the cost of a basic manicure here. Wouldn't recommend this place - there's a better one across the carpark near Coles. Read Less

I've been coming since May and have been so happy with my experiences!! Michelle Johnson has been doing gel manicures for me and I've had such a fun time with her!! We've been trying different designs on my nails...and colors that I haven't 'worn' in years! The salon is very clean and all of the staff has been kind and helpful!! I found my new nail salon. I stopped in because it was convenient to other business I had in the area, but I will drive the hour to come back here every month for sure! I got the best manicure ever- my nails look beautiful. I get acrylic pink and white tips and they did an awesome job. Amber was fantastic. The decor in there is really nice and feels upscale. However, I am a hairstylist who has a suite in Short Pump and came by between my appointments to get a pedicure. I asked for a gel polish pedi...and when I left the polish was shiny as if I had the gel polish. But after time went by the polish look dull and was very sticky even after hours. I went back to have the polish redone and the woman who did my pedi was busy but kind of laughed it off as if it was a minor mistake. I had to wait for about 20 min until I had someone else fix the botch job that was done. I won't be back. I will continue to go to my girls at Petite Nails...next time I will just wait until the next day they open back up instead of going somewhere else where they don't really pay attention to minor details. ✌️ Read Less

I just left your salon and I am very unhappy with my experience. I have been coming for several years and will not be coming back. I was not acknowledged when I arrived or when I sat in the waiting area for a half hour past my appointment time. When I said something, I was just told that the technicians must have taken someone else instead of me and that I could reschedule. There was no offer of reparation or sincere apology. My time is just as valuable as yours. This is not acceptable to me and I will no longer come to your salon. Read Less
