Horrible experience. I went it to have acrylic nails removed and a gel manicure. Robert was very rough with my nails. He tried to remove my acrylic nails by using a fake nail to pry them off and ended up causing severe pain. He told me what a pain that acrylics nails were even though I had them done at this same salon. Really? He then soaked them longer and use a nail clipper to remove and ended up cutting my real nail in the corner and was still bleeding a little when I left. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON! Read Less

I was really disappointed in my recent visit. I had visited the other location & had a wonderful experience. The environment is different. I was expecting the same experience here but did not receive not even half of the same experience. The prices are higher than the other location but that was fine because I was expecting quality & was willing to pay for it. My pedicure was going fine until I was cut on the bottom of my foot. This cut prevented me from enjoying the rest of ...paraffin and the massage. I told the tech that it was uncomfortable after the cut & it was stinging. He proceeded as if I said anything & proceeds to massage hardly the same foot. I was completely over it at this point & just wanted my polish & to go. Quoted one price and charged another. Gel fill ins with regular powder are listed on the menu as $40, but apparently if you have what they consider a "longer nail" it's an extra $10. Never quoted that by the front desk and it was never even mentioned until the end. The front receptionist saw how long my nails were to start as I showed her my already acrylic covered nails that needed a fill. Unfair pricing tactics disguised as "high end service". To nickel and dime clients at that extent when your prices are already higher than most in Richmond is ridiculous. Never coming here again. Read Less

I go and have my nails and feet done here, I love it! Erica is my nail tech and she is wonderful each time I visit Escape Nails. I tell all my friends and everyone who compliments me on my nails where to go. If i could rate this franchise one star i would. I had my nails done at Southlands shopping centre in Willetton. I have had bad experiences in the past with this business but i thought as they were recently over taken by new management things might have been different. I had my nails done exactly a week ago and already i have a build-up of white discolouration underneath nearly all of my nail beds. When putting on the nails the young girl was reluctant to cut my cuticles without charging me extra and when she did she cut me. In an effort to stop the bleeding she applied some clear liquid that stung like crazy and left an ugly yellow mark underneath my nail :( In the past when i have had them taken off they don't use a treatment to soften the false nails, instead they stick one of the false nails underneath one of my own and try to pry them off.
