I walked in there at 1pm , got told it was too busy and that we were booked for an appointment at 1:30. Came back at 1:30 , was taking every other customer in for service but doesn't even consider us when we booked an appointment and were standing right there. Had to wait for 3 girls to get fake nails on which takes longer then half an hour when we were just getting normal nails which would of been shorter anyway. Waited until 2pm to finally get serviced, then got my nail order wrong? and then starting putting fake nails on me , I tried telling her to stop but clearly she couldn't understand me due to poor English. Had to put my hand in boiling hot water for 5 minutes for these stupid fake nails to melt off my finger. Finally got my nails done then I came home and it is already chipped of my nail. Came back in to get 4 nails fixed after only 2 days of having them done here. Only returned so I could get a colour match. Absolutely disgusting service after I told her I only had them done a few days ago here. The woman would not listen to me when I said I’d like them cut a bit shorter to match my other hand. Finally she filed them shorter aggressively and uneven. I then asked her to even them up because they where still uneven. She argued the point,filed one of the 4 uneven nails then proceeded to finish my nails. My nails are different lengths, different shapes and I will refuse to ever come here again. Absolute disgrace. I was charged $40 for the world's fastest and worst pedicure. She didn't want to trim my nails but did a half hearted job after I asked her to. My nails all ended up different lengths and shapes. She didn't clean under my nails or take off my nail polish properly. The rest of the time was spent doing each bit in record time and with no care or attention to detail. I never write reviews but felt the need to share just how bad this place is. Over the years the service I've experienced here has become absolutely minimal. Last time I had a buff shape and polish for my toes, they didn't even wash my feet. Staff are rude!! Went in for shellac on my hands and toes. Only had to remove the shellac on my hands as my toes had no polish. I complained about my toes as the colour was different to the one I picked. Hands = $25 including removal. Toes = $40 just for application. I have been here twice and this is the worst nail salon I have ever been too.The first time I went I had a refill. She drilled my skin off around Every single nail !!! Also no communication, no manners, no nothing!! Second time while thinking maybe it was just the lady who did mine last time was bad I get a different One this time and my god even worse! All I wanted was shellac on my natural nails. While getting them painted she put over the second coat to realise my nails where still wet and smudged them so what does she do just paints over them to blend it back in. Also they were not busy but she couldn't not be bothered to take it off and do it again. 4 days later the colour of my shellac looks all crumbed under the gel coat and 2 nails Chipped off already! I went here as I was in a hurry the week before Christmas and I totally regret it. The staff are extremely rude and can't do nails properly. While I was getting my nails done, I asked for a pastel colour, the lady doing my nails looked at me like I had ten heads, and made an angry face towards me. The staff make no effort to attend to customer's needs. A young girl returned just minutes after getting her nails done as one of her nails had come off, and the staff spoke about her in their own language and rolled their eyes at her and sneered. A few days after getting my nails done, the shellac started to lift as it was applied too thick. This nail bar is terrible all round. I wont be going there again. How this place is still in business baffles me, there is nothing but bad reviews on here and even while I was sitting in the salon, I could tell a lot of customers weren't happy. Read Less

I went in on the 20/12 and the service I got there was appalling! So I asked to get my infill with shellac and I sit down to get them shaped. A few were not evenly straight and when I asked to file it down,the gentleman called Tim kept repeating the same thing over and over again and I ended up with some nails shorter than others (he doesn't even apologise, he literally gave me a nail file to do it myself!!!! Why am I paying for a service if I'm gonna do it myself?). I notice that one of my fill ins hasn't dried from the inside as you can see it as a large bubble underneath but he brushes me off when I ask about it and doesn't bother to explain anything. Then I get moved to another lady who sulked when he told her to do it (mind you,Tim hasn't bothered to check in to see if I'm happy with what he's done) Now when I got the polish on is when I notice how bad the filing was on the sides and how I still have remnants of my old polish on the sides as it wasn't removed properly. She did a good job and at least I felt better about it. When I was looking at my nails in the end she noticed that I was unhappy and offered to straighten them for me after acknowledging that they were truly misaligned, which was okay, but that's about as good as it got. I tried Professionail at Karrinyup over the weekend as I was in a bit of a rush and it had immediate availability. It was a huge mistake! I was palmed off to three different people to get acrylics with shellac. The man who did my acrylics was rude, very rough on my finger nails and generally just sucked at doing nails. I have cuts that are still swollen and were bleeding all around my nails, the acrylics aren't even in line with my actual nail (as in my actual nails are showing from the sides), there is too much of the acrylic on the nail and its raised and bumpy.... I asked for almond shape and he ended up giving me stiletto shaped nails! He was sneezing and sniffling unapologetically all over the place which really isn't what you want on your hands! When I said they weren't the shape that I wanted, I just got a nod and smile. I told the girl that did my shellac that I wasn't happy with the work and all she could do was try to fix it but it wouldn't be possible to fix them without taking them off and starting again! EVERYONE PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! This place is awful and overpriced and the staff are rude and really don't care about the client. Read Less

I'm not one of those girls to go out and get their nails done, but my friend was getting married and as part of her 'bridesmaid packs', she was taking us out to get fake nails for the wedding. Obviously I couldn't say no, so slightly unwillingly I went along.I was rather surprised with my enjoyment of the experience, we where all joking around and the lady was really gentle with my hands and it felt quite nice. I liked the look of my nails for about an hour, then I realised they weren't coming off. My arm was really itchy and these nails couldn't itch it properly. Things like this started to annoy me and I started to hate these nails.Now 4 weeks later they are off and all my nails are damaged, apparently the stuff she used was really bad and it now means my nails are going to take a while to go back to normal. I'm generally icky with nail salons, so please take my review with a shot of tequila, a bit of lemon, oh and a grain of salt...Professionail is presumably a franchise as I have seen these uniform salons all over the city. I do like a uniform service provider for these kinds of things as you know what to expect and how much it's going to set you back. The Professionail in Karrinyup is very large and has a nice atmosphere. In fact, I think it moved to a bigger premises recently within the shopping centre. It looks fairly clean although you can never know as the most serious germs in these kinds of environments are microscopical. See, I'm not too into these places. I had a pedicure as I was going on a holiday that required an unusually large amount of thong (feet kind) wearing. It is a little unnerving when you find yourself being 'pedicured' by a group of semi-friendly women who proceed to talk loudly in a foreign language while also looking at your feet strangely throughout the process. It's probably just me but I don't see myself inside one of those again anytime soon. Read Less
