I recently visited nail art for a builder gel application with a shellac colour tip. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience, especially regarding pricing. I was quoted a significantly higher price than I paid just two weeks ago for the same service. When I questioned this, the owner, Kevin, became defensive, explaining it was due to my nail length. However, my nails were the same length as before, as they had been filed down. This wasn’t the first time I’ve felt inconsistencies in pricing here; it seems Kevin makes up prices with each visit, leaving no clear, consistent standard. His response was unhelpful, claiming they are "legally bound to keep prices the same" and then mentioning another upcoming price increase, which I feel is an attempt to capitalize on the busy summer and festive season. This inconsistent pricing and defensiveness have made the experience frustrating and unprofessional. On a positive note, Kevin's wife, Hannah, is incredible and does excellent work on nails. Good quality nail service, much better than any of those places in shopping centres, I am very fussy with my pedicures and they do a good detailed job. Worth it to drive here and not garbage city. (Garden city) :) Read Less
