Last week I went to VJ Nails, I had an appointment and waited me turn to been seen, I was waiting for a good 45 minutes to be seen. When a customer come through the door they made her sit down after 10 minutes putting her first inline before me, she had no appointment. This place is unprofessional. I went in today with a friend and we asked for acrylic nails. I asked the lady for nails that were medium length and after she made them short, I asked her if she could please fix them, after they had been fixed the lady was extremely ruff with both me and my friend when filing causing us to be in extreme pain. I have been going to this nail salon for several years now. Once I decided on acrylic nails with shellac polish all my nail worries vanished. I only need to go to the salon once a month. They do a fabulous job of my manicure and pedicure, while I relax in one of the massage chairs. They also have a great loyalty program. Thanks ladies for the great service. Read Less

Horrible experience, I got lash extensions yesterday I woke up to a sore red eye, when the lady was putting the lashes on I could fill them poking and stingy me the glue felt like putting chillie in my eyes, then when she finished she asked me to open my eyes I couldn't my eyes where shut close, then she start rubbing them with water to dissolve the glue, it was the worst experience ever. Had my nails done here, such an awful job! They were all crooked, very thick at the ends and too thin at the bottom so it looked like they were flicking up at the end. She also took the drill bit off the staff member next to her who had just used it on another client, didnt wipe or sterilize it and then used it on me cutting and burning me with it multiple times! Massive health hazard!! She damaged my natural nail getting my shellac off. When i told her they were crooked she was rude and said "how, where, show me" very abruptly. They didnt even clean up the dried acrylic from under my nails and all over my finger tips. Also, I called prior to going in to get a price for a soak off and full set they told me $35 but when i went to pay they said $40 and wouldn't budge on price. I decided to try someone new as the lady I've been seeing for 15 years kept changing my dates and times and as I work full time I simply don't have the time to waste, I decided to try this place as its 2 minutes from where I live, well I didn't know what SNS was and tried it, best thing ever for my nails, no poisons or odours and my nails are getting healthy again, I though acrylic was my only option until the lovely girls told be about SNS, and they do such a perfect job, I highly recommend them. I was at ultimate nails today to get my nails done. The lady doing my nails couldn't speak English and the communications was really poor the owner of the shop was very rude considering the fact that it toke them 1hour to do infill and to put some new gel that they can't even apply propley so we got it into a misunderstanding and she called the security on me. Lol all these years and I have never been treated this way so disgusted never again! If you want to got service don't try to get it from those who don't know how to. Read Less

First time I got Shellac they only put 2 layers (clear) on and cost me $26. My nails didn't harden at all. Thought I'd give them a second chance so went back a week later to get more Shellac. This time 3 coats (colour) that my 11 year old neice could have put on better. All the Shellac gathered down to the tip of my nails and look like blobs. That costed me $36! No more chances.
