I redeemed a scoopon last month which was supposed to be a "90 minute Deluxe Manicure and Spa Pedicure including "Welcome Drink, Hand and Foot Massage, Skin Treatment and OPI Polish". Not only did I not get these treatment per described, I walked away with 2 bleeding nails (and who knows what plethora of infections/diseases to follow). To emphasis my point, below is a snapshot of what my experience was supposed to include (per described in Scoopon Highlights): - Enjoy a welcome tea or coffee on arrival - Indulge in 90 minutes of pampering for your hands and feet! - Deluxe Manicure includes: Warm soak, cuticle clean, nail cut, shape and buff plus enjoy a light hand massage with luxurious multi-vitamin hand cream. Soothe your skin with a moisturiser mask and fresh fruit, then your hands will be wrapped in warm towels to allow mask and fresh fruit to penetrate through and leave your skin silky and smooth. Followed by OPI polish application consisting of base coat, two coats of colour and top coat - Deluxe Spa Pedicure includes: Warm soak spa foot bath, cuticle reduction, dead heel skin removed, sugar scrub to exfoliate rough and dry skin. Enjoy a mini foot massage with hot stone and fresh fruit applied to soothe your skin, then you can sit back and relax in the luxurious VIP area. Follow up with a moisturiser mask - feet are wrapped in warm towels to allow mask to penetrate through and leave your skin silky and smooth. Finish off with your choice of OPI nail polish for that perfect polished finish My ACTUAL experience from calling to make a booking to deal completion were as per the following: - When I called to make a booking via the phone, they did not understand me as they hardly spoke English, I had to state my scoopon voucher repeatedly but they kept repeating "Groupon" instead - Not surprisingly, when I arrived at the venue to redeem the scoopon all my information in the booking log were incorrect (wrong company noted down as Groupon, wrong name noted down as "Annie"), luckily they got my phone number right which I was able to confirm as my booking - I wanted French manicure/pedicure and Shellac, and paid extra $10 for French (hand + feet) and $15 for Shellac (feet only), which meant extra $25 on top of the $39 scoopon already paid - The whole shop was empty when I arrived (and for the next 45 mins as they proceeded with my treatment), although that didn't stop them from showing impatience and attitude towards their only customer - Next I was treated to a 15 minute of "skin plucking" by my hand nail specialist, as she plucked away around the edges of my nails and making 2 of my nails bleed, continuously, and wiping the blood away with a rag (hope to god it was clean..) - At no time was I offered a welcome tea or coffee, she just barked at me whether I wanted any water - Feet and hand were done at the same time, which even though I commend on their efficiency, it also meant they never asked me whether I liked what they were doing (queue a French pedicure with way too thick white tips). In addition, no OPI polish was in sight for my French manicure, which already look unsightly 24 hours later - By the way, my bleeding issue from above continued, and they just painted over the bleeding spots with nail polish and pretended they didn't see it - 45 mins and $64 later, I was sitting under the UV lights drying my nails, along with blood.. definitely no feelings of "indulge", "pampering" or "relaxing" came to mind after this experience! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY is my one and true warning. Read Less
