Stopped by while in the area on a Tuesday afternoon and was helped by Nazia (my apologies if I spelled your name wrong). She did a fabulous job on my brows! Best I've had done in a long time. She was meticulous with her threading, plucking, and also trimming. Only two cons: 1. I'm not used to having someone place their entire hand all over my face. It took me by surprise. Straight up: thumb on eyeball, entire palm on my cheek, finger grips on head.. I was like, "What's going on here..." but I assume she was getting my face in steady for plucking, lol. And 2. After all that, the hair that had been taken off on my face wasn't brushed away in any way. So I'm covered in eyebrow bits and had to clean that off myself. My brows do look fab though! Read Less

These guys were great! I've tried a number of places that do threading and this is the first time I've left one not feeling stressed. I haven't had my eyebrows done for almost a year and walked past this shop.  I thought I'd drop by for an eyebrow thread.  Since I haven't done this for a long time I thought $22 is quite steep to be honest.That being said their service was quick and efficient and the lady managed to make my lopsided slightly monobrow almost balanced so I am very impressed!I should have gotten the name of the lady who did my brows cos looking at the reviews here I have obviously got the right person! Highly recommend Miss Brow Bar for threading in the city, I also visit their South Melbourne store if I'm in the area. It's cheaper than some others in the vicinity too, I pay $22 and in my opinion they provide an all round better service. There's also a loyalty system, with your 7th threading free.The staff are always ridiculously happy and friendly, I walk out of there with a smile - and some very fine brows. The ladies will ask how you'd like your brows styled, checking after each brow that you're happy. Don't worry if you're a newbie, I have taken plenty of people here to have their first threading experience and the staff are always happy to provide some friendly guidance.The store can be a little tricky to locate as it's tucked down Royal Arcade, you can access from Bourke Street Mall or Elizabeth Street. I have been going to the same brow lady for 3 years as I am very particular.  I moved into the South Melbourne area so had to find someone else.  I was a little hesitant about Miss Brow Bar but took the plunge.  The lady who did my brows did a fantastic job and I am very happy to go back.  Loved the price too. I must confess, I'm a tad lazy with my beauty maintenance. It really doesn't extend past putting moisturiser on most days. That said, I am pedantic about what I do have done. For my very dark and noticeable brows, I go to one of the fancy joints that will thread for $35 but you need to book in advance and I always forget until they get really unruly.I have walked past Miss Brow Bar every time I've been to the South Melbourne Market and noticed they only charge $22 and accept walk-ins, offering quite a fast and friendly service. So I decided to finally give them a go. The girls were lovely. The chairs were very rickety and I felt like I was going to fall off the whole time, which did make me a tad nervous about losing a brow, but it was fine. It was over and done with in a flash. Upon inspection at home, I noticed quite a few strays and it wasn't as clean as my normal job. The redness has stuck around for 2-3 days so far which I've never had before. Never the less, pretty happy with the end result and it wasn't anything a tweezer couldn't fix and my fringe couldn't disguise. I would recommend them for touch ups and people happy with the existing shape of their brows. For new shaping or if you're unsure what you're after, I'd probably pony up the extra dosh. Read Less
