I came in yesterday and saw Jana’e Hulsey for the first time. After seeing some of the beautiful work she’s done on a friend of mine, I knew she was a good choice for what I wanted to do. I was so nervous about the cut I had in mind though but she was great at listening to me and also had some great suggestions for my face shape. I showed her a few photos of my a-line idea and some of the color scheme I wanted (mostly purples)....and Jana’e rocked it I was pleased with her ...assistant as well. She was nice and has the most gentlest hands. No jerking or tugging when she was handling my hair. I wish I could add a photo to my review so you can see it but I’ll put it in the comments if it lets me. I was a little unsure how it was going to turn out but everything just started coming together so beautifully and once she was all done with my hair, I was in love. The cut really compliments my face shape and the colors look so good on my skin tone. I’ve only ever done red in my hair but the colors she did are so complementary I’m still blown away. I’ve gotten so many comments about how great it looks on me already. Even my teen daughter gave me a compliment lol and that never happens I feel like the whole look she did is just perfect for me. My whole life I’ve hated my thin hair and now I feel like I finally have a style that suits me! I just can’t say enough how pleased I am with it. All of the staff I encountered while I was there were also very nice and friendly. Very awesome because that’s really rare to see! Clean environment too. I made an appointment with Janae for color recently when I was in town visiting family. She is the absolute BEST! She knew immediately what my hair needed, changing up the color slightly and evening out the tones already there so that my hair now looks amazing. I wish I lived closer as I would love to see her regularly but am in another state. I can't recommend her highly enough! Read Less

I saw the bad reviews but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and went in anyway. I have never had someone be so rough and rushed with my hands/nails. I ended up bleeding on one finger from the nail file, I asked for almond shape and got square on four of my fingers, one of the nails is almost sideways and I asked for matte finish and she put shine on (some matte go on shiny and dry matte so I didn't notice until the end). Worst customer service ever. The service was unprofessional, it took 110 minutes for a set of SNS to be removed and done which would take my usual nail salon 60 minutes at most. On top of that my cuticle was deeply cut with the drill they use and nothing was offered to help me. I asked for a bandaid and they said "yes, yes" but never got one and no sympathy was given by the manager there except utter apathy. The nail lady's incompetence was evident, given that the injury she inflicted on me could have easily been avoided altogether by simply asking me how my nails were prior to working on my nails. They only offered compensation of $5 which was a mere insult. The staff there seem to rotate, so you'll never be comfortably acquainted with anyone. Read Less

I've been here a few times now. I have had pedicure's with shellack and also full sets with either a paint or shellack and of course refills.I found the service to be quite satisfactory and speedy. The staff always do their best to fit you in.I like that they have a wide variety of colours and are attentive to what style of nail you prefer. Read Less

Went in to get two infills done. Should have taken 10-15 minutes, but took close to 45-50 minutes. One of the two women there didn't know how to do acrylics, while the other did one nail and then went off to do some waxing for another customer (apparently the other woman didn't know how to wax, along with not knowing how to do acrylics). I was left alone for 25 minutes waiting, and another woman flew in, obviously late for work. She started on my nails, but tried to take off the polish from one of my other nails — something I didn't want at all. My partner was waiting outside on a bench for the full 45-50 mins, after I had promised him it'd only be 10-15 minutes. Never going back. Read Less

Super fast, efficient, and TINY little place for nails and waxing.  The "treatment room" upstairs is so funny because it is really just a space behind a divider.  Someone's kid is on the other side of the divider watching Teletubbies or that Wiggles b.s.   Well priced, perfectly located, and friendly people. A lot of people turn their noses up certain nail salons and in many cases I'll agree that you get what you pay for. Greville Nails however, is proof that you shouldn't knock something 'til you've tried it. It's clean, they use high end products (OPI, anyone?) and the results are impressively enduring. Once you're in, you'll not only get the dedicated service of a nail specialist (or sometimes two) while you sit back in the large, comfy massage chairs and indulge in a little me-time.The use quality OPI nail varnish and have a wide selection of services including acrylic and nail art. A mani and pedi cost just $45 - definitely worth the visit!I'm a regular at this place and I've never had a bad experience - which is very important since some places charge the earth and you still end up being served by a pompous, know-it-all who can't stop yacking or worse still, the lazy TV addict who just can't seem to focus on your nails.
