When I went here, the service was great and the staff seemed friendly, but my nails do not seem as though they were done with great care and quality. They were filed extremely low, and made my cuticles hurt quite a bit After I left, I also found that the fake nail did not cover my entire nails, with quite wide gaps to the side of my nail. I also found that my nail bled quite a bit afterwards although I did nothing to it. Would not go here if it was the last nail salon on earth. They file down nails too far to create a dent in your nails where the acrylic will grab onto better, yes this does as they claim make the sns last longer but after going here 3 times I had holes in my nails. They file the sides of your nails down really harshly too and not only is this painful, it looked weird. My friend went here the other week and they used a nail file on her til she bled, then proceeded to use the same file (didn't throw it away or clean it) on the next customer. You could see my friends blood on it as they used it on someone else. Don't go here unless you want no nails or a blood transferred disease. Read Less

I had already had and heard of negative experiences at Julex Mont Albert but decided to give them another go because I had a $5 off my next service on my loyalty card. I had absolutely no polish on my nails when I came in but the lady proceeded to pull out the drill to drill down my BARE nail. When I requested that they didn’t use the drill because I already have thin nails she rudely interrupted saying ‘it won’t last as long if I don’t use the drill’. I’ve been to plenty of nail salons that don’t drill down their clients bare nails, but instead use a hand file and the colour lasts just as long if not longer. The lady ignored me for the rest of my manicure and then when it came time to pay I gave her the loyalty card and my debit card. She skipped the ‘$5 off’ stamp on my loyalty card and stamped the next one along so I couldn’t receive the $5 off. When I told her that she skipped it and that I wanted the $5 off that I had earnt she tapped my card on the machine and said ‘woops! You can get the $5 off Next time!’ She Did not offer me a refund or anything and laughed with the lady next to her. Absolutely disgusting treatment of a customer and I definitely WILL NOT be back. Do not come here if you don’t want your nails ruined and terrible customer service.
