The girls in here are lovely but be careful as my usually very strong nails are now trashed after having a manicure from here a few weeks ago. My nail plate is damaged and there is a visible dent in my nails between where the manicure was and where there there is now regrowth :( Read Less

Oh well, how do I start? The skills of the senior manicurist is good, but however the salon gets busy and she gets abit cranky. However a busy salon doesn’t give a staff in the service industry the right to be cranky to the customers, especially new customers if they want to have a loyal customer base. Have been going here for a few months now, for SNS (on my real nails). They always take great care to maintain my natural nails and do an amazing job! I am always happy with the shape and quality work... And Melissa will always ask if you're happy with the shape before proceeding to polish (etc) :-) I highly recommend Q&H Nails! Read Less

Definitely my favourite nail shop in Melbourne. I always get the organic gel nails, they're brilliant and don't ruin your nails like acrylic does. Make sure to ask for Melissa, she is the best at organic gel and she's super friendly 😍 Thank you Q&H x Read Less

While in Melbourne about 6 weeks a go I got a French nail treatment at this place. From the start the treatment was rushed and quite rough. As I had to have polish removed the man used a burr drill. He has removed so much of the top of my nail that it was quite painful. This has left my nails very thin and brittle so they will have to grow out totally. The man finished what he thought was a completed job but the woman wasnt happy and she did a bit more repair work. The shape was very good though. - Robyn Read Less

Unfortunately I won't be going back. Been a couple of times but there are a few reasons I won't go back. Firstly they are very small and never say no meaning there are always people waiting and even when you book an appointment you still end up waiting a long time to start and even then get passed from one person to another. I have had the organic gel nails done there a couple of times but most recently I was extremely unhappy, they were so so thick and the shape was terrible..., I have have organic done so many times before I no it doesn't have to be that thick. When I commented on the shape it barely changed so thought there's no point me saying it is I ended up going home and redoing as much as possible to change them - not ideal when you have paid for something your not happy. I won't be returning anymore, found another great place not far away. Atrocious job. I have no idea where all these positive reviews are coming from, but they obviously didn't get their nails done by the four people who worked on mine. All of my nails are different shapes/lengths. When i told the guy i wanted to keep the same shape and length, he obviously thought that meant they didn't have to do anything to them. Every other manicure i've ever had has given them a tidy up. They have left my nails at odd lengths, i have oval, square and somewh...ere in between. I got glitter french tips. There are bubbles all through the clear section and the glitter is also uneven. One of my thumbs wasn't even buffed down so it is quite rigid in the glitter section. I guess that's what happens when you have multiple people working on you, who clearly aren't communicating who has done what. In all honesty, this is a manicure i wouldn't be happy paying $20 for, let alone the $60 i did pay, $10 more than my normal beautician in hobart who always does an excellent job.
