Worst manicure I've ever gotten. The manicurist cut one of my nails way too short and then asked if I was happy with it. No, but you can't exactly put the nail back on, can you? I asked for rounded and she made them very square. I couldn't get her to fix this because then they'd be even shorter. Then she knowingly used a very thick and stringy top coat which has resulted in all of my nails covered in bubbles. I have an event to go to and I'm going to have to re-do my nails myself tonight. My complaint about this place isn't towards the salon itself (which I've read some great things about) but rather towards my manicurist. I got French shellac nails done last Friday and the lady cut my cuticles quite carelessly, which then starting bleeding quite a bit. I understand mistakes happen, but she did not even apologise. As she was doing my nails, another manicurist walked over to us and started they started chatting to each other in a different language.. I don't mind staff exchanging a few words, but they kept having a full on conversation, all whilst still working on my nails. I find this quite rude to be honest, especially in a foreign language. The nails were done poorly too - she had missed bits and pieces and the French tips were uneven. Overall, below average customer service and a mediocre job. OMG !!! I finally find the best salon in Melbourne ! forget about the Vietnamese salons that i have been so far.... they are hopeless compare to Crescent !
