I’ve been going to this nail salon for quite a while. Haven’t been there for a while so after telling my daughter what a great place it was we went... . The man that sits at the front should have given us our money back. She was pressured into a $40 pedicure. The lady that did my nails was very rude and asked me how short I wanted my nails, I responded with “What do you think” and she spoke loudly back to me and said “how short do you want your nails!!!!! It was very rude and... inconsiderate ...then she spilled nail polish on me and looked at me like it was my fault. She was laughing and I was rather loud and very upset because I’ve never had an experience like that there. She did glitter over four nails and when you hold them up to the sun you can see right through them.....she would not put more polish on them just one coat. Last, but not in any special order her nail sponge went flying at me down into my lap. After I was loud and very very upset and told her what I was feeling and how a customer should be treated especially when you are paying to get a service and should never be pressured into a service that you do not want. If I had known my daughter was pressured into a $40 pedicure when she gets them done once a month and has never been Told her that her feet needed it and my daughter is a really special person and just wanted to leave she is so upset also... she never got her nails done and they put other people in front of her. My girlfriends go there because I told them about it a long time ago ....well I will be letting everyone know what poor service we got today. I would never step foot back into that place ever again and honestly in all my years of getting my nails done I have never been treated like that and for the man that has always been nice to me to treat me the way he was treating me today ..I am honestly sitting in my truck not believing what just happened and to top it off my daughter did not get her nails done. She got her feet done, I got my nails done and they put someone else before my daughter to get her fingernails done. My family are my world and for you people to do this I can only stay I truly believe in karma 100%... shame on you Serenity nails... I guess you just got too big for your britches.....I am giving a one just because there’s no option for a zero. Please excuse all of my mistakes but what we just experienced was unforgivable. I have been having my nails done by Val got three years now, she dies a wonderful job and li am often complemented on my nails by griends and strangers and always recommend Val. Maria does the most amazing nail art and is up for any request thrown at her. She is also responsible for the beautiful pedicures here too. Wonderful friendly staff, great acrylic nails and the best nail art too! Just go!

As a super satisfied client of Vals for over 15 years I am qualified to rate and review Absolutely Polished nails. Val has taken me on a wonderful journey of amazing looking and strong nails, from sculptured acrylic, to my natural nails that are now thriving thanks to fortnightly IBX treatments which are always complimented by an an array of OPI polishes
Oh and if you thought it couldn't get any better... you can enjoy a stunning pedicure from Maria with lashings of goodness to keep your feet soft and smooth .... Or some outstanding nail art!

I have been going to Val for much more than 10 years. Her nails are so good that very few people are aware mine are acrylic (and just about indestructible). Personal attention with no short cuts to the correct quality processes..but don't tell anyone...I have to make my appointments at least a month ahead (but that is partly because I am inflexible about time as I drive for 2 hours to get there).

Probably won't return here. I sat for 3 hours for a pedicure & a gel full set. They did my toes 1st then the owner did my nails. His technique is decent but he took forever. I get home only to find that my toes are completely smudged & uneven in shape. However I can deal with my nails until I find a new nail tech. I paid way too much. $85

This is an excellent nail salon. The primary Nail Technician, Val, is totally responsive to her customers' needs and her work is top quality. I have been a client of Val's for over a decade and I highly recommend her and her work. The salon is above Max restaurant in Hardware Lane. Take the austere stairs up one flight and go into the salon there. She's great. Not open on Sundays or Mondays though.

I’ve been going to this nail salon for quite a while. Haven’t been there for a while so after telling my daughter what a great place it was we went... . I get home only to find that my toes are completely smudged & uneven in shape. However I can deal with my nails until I find a new nail tech. I paid way too much. $85
