Warning: Hollywood Nails at Highpoint are NOT professional: They completely soak your fingers in acetone to remove SNS instead of individually wrapping with cotton wool/foils. I asked why they do this and they responded because it's quicker! (don't worry about damage to your finger tips!) Furthermore I had one stubborn nail where the SNS was not coming off easily, the attendant used an acrylic nail to scrape it off quite harshly ripping the tip of my nail : soon after a small bruise appeared underneath he then asked what the spot was & I assured him it was not there from 3 weeks ago !: He then continued and assured me I had the start of FUNGUS!! I was quite alarmed asked him just to apply clear polish: after a visit to my Doctor I was assured me it was clearly bruising underneath the nail & was asked had my nail been traumatised? and of course it was as he was trying frantically to remove the SNS: He must have realised it was bruised and perhaps didn't want me to go back complaining after it was covered and hurting! Extremely rude and Terrible experience! Asked them to change my sns and she cut all my nails off then said do I want tip. Everything had to be done through her sidekick who could speak english and then she said - we have to replace your tips. When I said ok are you going to do it, she said - you say it like it’s her fault so what do you want?? Well she cut them off so why is she asking me if I want them ?? If I could have awarded no stars, I would of . My fiancee and her cousin had her nails done but wished we never came to this place. My fiancee showed them a picture of what she wanted, 40 minutes later was advised that they did not have any nail crystals. At the same time, her cousin was in the drying area for 30 minutes as no one told her that her nails were dry. When we asked them what the solution was for my fiancée's nails, the lady did not respond but instead walked away. We said we were not going to pay as it was not what we asked for, they said we had to pay but we said no. They said they wanted to take the nail polish off if we didn't want to pay. The main issue wasn't the payment but the 40 minutes that we wasted and the lack of customer service and care. Never have we been to a nail salon that treated us so badly. If I could I would give them 0 stars, the worst store ever!! NOT RECOMMENDED at all! I was there 4 weeks ago to do my acrylic nails and after one week I got a massive INFECTION!! And when I come back to store to tell them and show them how this looks like, they don't want admit that and with doctors certificate I'm still waiting for call from boss or whoever is the owner,they are TERRIBLE!
