Went into try SNS nails for the first time. The girl was very quiet and seemed unfriendly. SNS are supposed to be thicker than shellac/gel but my ones looked like dinosaur claws. I asked to get them thinner but it seemed like she didn't appreciate the feedback and carelessly buffed it but they were thick, ugly and had poor shape. I went and got them removed the next day at another salon. The owner (a man) sits near the door and collects the payment. The salon has a strange vibe.. I would not recommend. Read Less

I visited Classy Nails a week ago for removal of shellac polish from my fingernails. The young female nail technician was so rough despite me informing her the tool she used was hurting, I asked her to use less pressure and was then told the fault was my nails! She continued on roughly, without apology. It was at this stage I decided to abort. When I stated I was leaving she became verbally abusive yelling at me in another language as I walked out. I went there around 5.20pm and they are closing at 5.30pm, (she probably hates me for finish work late) the staff is rude when I told her that's not the color I chosen and she scolded me with her own language to the owner and threw the color palettes on the table. The staff here could not be more rude and disinterested. The owner sits near the doorway watching at all times - it makes for a most uncomfortable atmosphere. They also made an extremely half hearted job of my mani/pedi, very rushed, and completely skipped over some of the steps that would normally occur during such a treatment (But still charging $45 of course) I have given this place a few chances in hope of a better experience, but it seems they are not interested in bothering with it. Worst SNS I have ever had done! The colour is grainy with white patches in it. It is very thick and lumpy. They used O.P.I base and top coat to apply the SNS rather than the proper SNS lacquer and varnish. When I queried the patchy colour I was told that SNS is supposed to look like that. (!!) I have been getting SNS on my nails once a month for the last year and I have never had such a poor result. I think the real reason is because they are not using the SNS products which blend the pigment properly. SNS should take about an hour to do and they rushed through it in under 30 mins. They also did not shape my nails well - my nails are all different shapes and lengths. they offered to strip the top coat, buff and reapply but given as she had nicked my fingers with the buffing tool a few times I did not want to do this. They ended up giving me $5 discount. I feel incredibly ripped off. I now need to find another salon to repair the job they did as my nails look appalling and I am embarrassed by it. I used to go to Classy Nails because it was was near my place and convenient but I wouldn't recommend it for the price. I paid $30 for what I thought was a normal pedicure but turns out I was getting a "spa" pedicure. I'd hardly call it that at all. It only lasted 15 minutes. The jets in the bowl weren't strong, she half heartedly "massaged" my legs, slapped on the hot towel and it was all over in a blink of an eye. I think I'll stick to my usual place in MC. Read Less
