I have always had my hair done at Dry and Tea but last week they were fully book. I went to another salon and had an awful balayage. There was no dimension on the first layer and underneath the colouring were done in huge chunks. Kieran (Newmarket) listened to my concerns and made suggestions on what can be done. He’s the nicest and absolutely attentive to my needs! Thank you Kieran! The end result was a super natural looking colour that would still look good even when my hair grows and the colour lightens. Not even 5 minutes ago, I telephoned the Newmarket store to make an enquiry, with the overall intention to book in for a haircut. Despite being very friendly, I was spoken to in a very rude, abrupt, condescending manner by the woman who answered my call. The staff member cut my call short before I could even ASK to make a booking. Suffice to say I am genuinely concerned that I will receive a bad haircut and service from staff with negative attitudes, should I follow through w...ith a booking. It is confusing why staff would rather speak down to prospective customers, rather than add value to your brand to encourage new consumers to come in. It is also a pity, as I have lived in the area my whole life. I have walked past the store many times, and thought the Newmarket store looked very well established, and beautiful inside.
