I had a really disappointing experience at Miss Lola today. I purchased a Groupon voucher for a manicure and pedicure. I was expecting a full clean and polish of hands and feet, but was only given a coat of nail polish. I had a tanning appointment at 7.15pm this evening to touch up my spray tan, and I walked out even patchier then when I walked in. The lady was lovely and talkative but I have huge long streaks over my stomach and legs and on my arms and shoulders I have huge orange spots and huge white spots that have no tan on them at all. I went in for a microderbrasion facial, didn't even check my skin or talked to me about my skin and what id like to achieve from the treatment. Didn't say anything about the product she was going to use, the cleansing method was poor, didn't cleanse all the way to my ears, didnt ask me if the setting for the micro machine was ok, it hurt a fair bit on my forehead, and neck, therefore i now have two bruises on my forehead, also didnt change the gauge for the micro when she wor...ked around my eyes or nose, just lazy, in and out service! Intead of letting the machine do the work she applied a lot of pressure on my face. After the micro i had a mask on, who know what it was cos she surely didn't say a word, just started slapping it on. Plus on top she didn't apply moisturiser before applying sunblock Not happy. this package I brought was for my mum to pamper herself after a very long time of misfortunes so I can help her build her esteem about herself unfortunately there are circumstances that my mother ends up in the hospital due to medial conditions that she can not control this occurred twice on the booked appointments coincidently so she had to miss her appointments because she was battling with her health. She's still managing it and then I call up to reschedule and here I find out she can't use the other two sessions.
