WARNING. HEALTH RISK OR SIMPLY ATROCIOUS IGNORANT INDIVIDUALS ? After supporting this business for years, frequenting the "salon" every 3-4 weeks, often meeting my patients there, and avidly listening to the journey of the manager Dung and her son and daughter; taking Christmas food, dropping by chocolates and always leaving a tip, I have had the worst customer experience of my life. Dropped in today to have my mani pedi, looking forward to a new color for my son's 21st tomorrow. Yes, I had the potent acetone soak (mentioned below) that I hate but put up with, being told off every few minutes if I am not moving my fingers and scraping the paper to their liking. Meanwhile, a young girl was removing shellac from my toe nails. After jamming a cuticle stick under my large toe nail, she called over Dung and a young male (I believe is Dung's son- I have asked her daughter previously and the response was "could be" - I now realize why she did not want to acknowledge this). The boy then proceeded to tell me that my nail "change", the color on the corner was "not same" and that they could not put on any color! He also insisted that last month I was told the same thing! I have never been told that my nail was "change" and more to the point my nails are healthy (they do not know that I am a doctor). I asked the boy and Dung what they thought was the issue and I was told pretty much nothing, except repeating that it "change" and suggested that I see a doctor!! Hello! Here I am!! Once I confirmed that they had no idea about what they were saying, and that I was not going to be able to have my nails colored, I asked the boy if he could write down what he thought I should ask a doctor. Of course he could not, and refused, as well as the manager Dung. I then asked if they could not write it, could they repeat it into my phone so that I may ask a doctor what they were so concerned about? The boy became very angry, told me that it was illegal to record, "this is private property", and threatened to call center management! So that's it - either A. they are correct.. and if so, the most likely cause of a nail infection is their salon, suggesting a lack of hygiene and/ or skill; or B. as I have medically cleared myself, that they are unskilled workers who are trying to comply with new regulations imposed on their salon about 4 months ago when they began packing instruments in steri bags (haven't seen the autoclave) and medi- lining their foot baths (I suspect as a result of hygiene complaints).
I was simply dismayed, appalled and shocked that people whom I have supported for years treated me so poorly, know nothing about what they are doing and have such little regard for people. I should have taken out my prescription pad there and then to ask what antifungal or antibiotic the boy who remembers my toes and thinks they "change" suggested I need. Reading the reviews below, it all sounds too familiar - acetone soaks, no working ATM (when it does), charging extra for the instruments in the steri bags!! So many times I have listened in sympathy whist clients complained to the staff. And all the time I just wanted to be loyal to local business, Dung and her family. Would also give 0 stars if possible - very clear that the reviews below (and on Google reviews) that gave 4 or 5 stars are fake reviews, more like advertising and totally different from majority of the reviews that are similar to my experience.

I wanted to select 0 stars! Staff member leaked acetone on my bag and when I asked to have it cleaned off, she made it worse. I approached the 'manager' and I was told it was my fault! Apparently, I splashed it on my bag. Now, my bag is stained. Never will I go there again!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!! :((

Staff were very rude and nails were done horribly (thin, different shapes, lumpy). Went twice and will not be returning. Strongly do not recommend.

The worst place I have ever been in my life. I had a 15 min "pedicure" with used instruments, nothing was sterile my nails are a ridiculous shape and it cost $34. Beware

They have 20% off and the service was amazing when i tried it out! They was very friendly and the pedicure was very relaxing, i can drop when going to coles now so it is very covenient. It was a good ...

their price is not that much higher than some place but they have a 20% off ...

their price is not that much higher than some place but they have a 20% off now so it was a good deal to me! you might need to bring cash as their EFTPOS doesn't always work just to save time running to the ATM after.

Wow! This place was very good, the medi pedi was great and i can just go to coles when i need to wait so i didn't mind. Would recommend it!

I went in (walk-in) on a Sunday afternoon to get a basic mani-pedi. Price $55. They tried to sell me up (in very bad English - they are all Vietnamese I think and v hard to understand) to the spa treatment etc but I just stuck to my guns - basic please. One sits in the standard massage chairs with feet in water bath, they did mani at the same time. I just read my magazines and it was very relaxing. They asked me how I wanted the nail- square or round, I had picked my colours- I hate the gel, OPI is best. The girl doing my feet did an excellent job, very meticulous. Scrubbed callouses, trimmed cuticles, good job. Same with hands. Rubbed in moisturizers. They did not want me to take off my rings or watch and just went round them. Paid before applying polish to hands. They waited for it dry, and didn't push me out. Overall they did a good job and it looked good and was a relaxing experience.

So, it was my second visit and I thought may be this time they will do better and I should give them another chance. Honestly these guys are not worth it. I hated my second visit and so badly wanted to yell at them for doing such a bad job. I had the worst pedicure ever from this place, absolute waste of my hard earn money. The staff is very rude, most of the time they talk in their own language, if you ask something they start talking to each other and one of them will respond to the answer and you wonder wtf!!!! Are they making fun of you? The girl who was doing my pedicure didn't bother to give her 100%, didn't paint my whole nail; it was a messy and rushed job. Just don't bother with this place and save your money.

They were very helpful to start but as soon as I got in the chair that changed. She decided to use acrylic instead of gel without asking me, she could not understand that I wanted short & pointy nails...
They were very helpful to start but as soon as I got in the chair that changed. She decided to use acrylic instead of gel without asking me, she could not understand that I wanted short & pointy nails & I had to ask repeatedly for them to be what I had asked for. They didn't understand that I wanted two different nail polishes on top even though it was a very simple design. The nail itself was done without a dome on the apex, so it's very flat & doesn't look good.
It was a very rushed job & it was done very messily, I had to file acrylic off my cuticles once I'd gotten home & apply oil, neither of which they did.
Three different people worked on them & they still couldn't get it right.

Good pedi for $36. My only complaint was I wish she'd scrubbed my heels a tiny bit more (they're hard and gross but I love when they're scrubbed smooth). Great massage chairs and I didn't need an appo...
Good pedi for $36. My only complaint was I wish she'd scrubbed my heels a tiny bit more (they're hard and gross but I love when they're scrubbed smooth). Great massage chairs and I didn't need an appointment. I like that there's a car wash in the parking garage so both myself and my car are polished when I leave!

I wanted to select 0 stars! Staff member leaked acetone on my bag and when I asked to have it cleaned off, she made it worse. I approached the 'manager' and I was told it was my fault! I went in (walk-in) on a Sunday afternoon to get a basic mani-pedi. Price $55. They tried to sell me up (in very bad English - they are all Vietnamese I think and v hard to understand) to the spa treatment etc but I just stuck to my guns - basic please. One sits in the standard massage chairs with feet in water bath, they did mani at the same time. I just read my magazines and it was very relaxing. She decided to use acrylic instead of gel without asking me, she could not understand that I wanted short & pointy nails & I had to ask repeatedly for them to be what I had asked for. Good pedi for $36. My only complaint was I wish she'd scrubbed my heels a tiny bit more (they're hard and gross but I love when they're scrubbed smooth).
