This nail salon has been taken over by a new owner and you can already tell there's a huge difference- The atmosphere is much better, the ladies are all attentive and each lady greets you when you walk in (unlike other salons who will just ignore you), they play music which really helps with the ambience and they SMILE!!!!! They try hard not to speak in their language and will engage in conversation with you. I have been twice now and both times I have walked out very happy with the service provided, the ladies who did my nails and above all, I love my nails. Me and my friend had an appointment at 12:45 today, but they didn't start on me until 2:45. I had this appointment book two weeks ago. Basically ruining my birthday weekend. The sad thing is, they called me 10:30 this morning to confirmed my appointment. They could of told me this morning that they were running behind. But they didn't. Then they failed to tell me that they went up on their manicure & pedicure before I received my services. I've been going to polished nail bar... almost two years. After today I'm done with them. They could of offer me a percentage off due to the fact that they inconvenience my time. I was at the this place for 4 hours and 10 minutes. You would think that I was getting acrylic nails with designs. Nope only got a regular manicure and pedicure. So I paid $40.00 for a mani/pedicure, that took 4 hours and 10 minutes to get. Shocking customer service - rude and definitely not a relaxed environment which you would expect whilst getting your nails done. They rushed through my appointment (full set of acrylic tips done in about 30 minutes), cut my cuticle to the point that it bled - with the electric nail file, got irritated with me for asking them to file my nail straight as it was cut at an angle. Visiting from NJ and stumbled upon this place while going to the movies. It is amazing. I had a fill and a deluxe spa pedicure. Amazing!! Place is gorgeous and super clean!! Staff is soooo nice!!! I advise you make an appt. I attempted to walk in and I couldn't get an appt because they are that good!!! Over 800 colors and every trendy application and design you can think of. I just want to reply on the last comment I just saw I also went there for my first time and had a young lady named Lina it was her first day and I took the chance cause I believe that everyone always has a first day at a new job. Everyone is always nervous and getting used to a new element so who am I to take judge. My point is that she was amazing and till this day I still go there and love the staff!! I myself manage a property and deal with people every day, but love the way they can always fit me in last minute and always manage to do an amazing job no matter who I go with so props to this amazing nail spot which I recommend to all my friends!!! Paid $105 for gel refills - one nail was broken - and spa pedicure, fingers and toes with shellac. The next day, my thumb nail broke off - which I glued back on - and within the first week 2 other nails started breaking in the centre (index and middle finger). I went back to complain and for them to fix them. I told the lady if the index and middle finger nails break off completely, they're going to take off my nail and bleed and hurt. They filed the 3 nails and applied a layer of gel over the whole nail. I wasn't convinced that this did it. The next day the fixed middle finger nail broke, taking some of my natural nail off with it. It was bleeding and hurting me for a few days. I will not go back here again. They have no experience.
