This place is awesome. After shopping around for a few years with lashes I found the Play Lash babes and was really impressed with the lash longevity and flexibility of booking. I tend to be pretty last minute and these guys can usually sort me out with only a day or two notice. They also now have online ‘choose your appointment’ style booking which I haven’t seen anywhere else for lash extensions. So convenient. Their new lash room looks like my favourite type of vogue interior design spread. Actually don’t come here, I want them all to myself. This place sucks, you gals bugger off elsewhere.

I was really excited to visit Play Brow Bar given all the great reviews but unfortunately my experience was not a good one. I had waxing done by a lady who seemed nice, but turned out to be extremely rough – lots of skin tugging and pulling which made the procedure hurt more than usual (I’ve done waxing at heaps of other places before and I generally have a very high pain tolerance!). As soon as she started I just wanted to jump out of my chair and go somewhere else. Please please please treat your customers gently, as I don’t think I’ll be coming back :’(

I was getting my lashes done somewhere else for years and thought it was normal for all your lashes to fall out in 2 to 3 weeks but I got my lashes done at Fitzroy and even on my 4th week my lashes looked full, I couldn’t believe it! I highly recommend this place, absolutely in love with the service and the girls are very lovely! Neat and clean salon, 10/10. I would never go anywhere else now!

I've had my brows shaped three times here. The first two times I was really pleased. But I had them done yesterday and not only did it hurt more than usual, but they were left quite uneven. Far too much had been taken off one brow so it looks unbalanced with the other. I don't want to remove more of the 'good' one to match so I'll just have to wait for it to grow back! It's a shame because up until then I had been really happy with the service.

This place is awesome. After shopping around for a few years with lashes I found the Play Lash babes and was really impressed with the lash longevity and flexibility of booking. I tend to be pretty last minute and these guys can usually sort me out with only a day or two notice. They also now have online ‘choose your appointment’ style booking which I haven’t seen anywhere else for lash extensions. So convenient. I was really excited to visit Play Brow Bar given all the great reviews but unfortunately my experience was not a good one. I had waxing done by a lady who seemed nice, but turned out to be extremely rough – lots of skin tugging and pulling which made the procedure hurt more than usual (I’ve done waxing at heaps of other places before and I generally have a very high pain tolerance!). As soon as she started I just wanted to jump out of my chair and go somewhere else. Please please please treat your customers gently, as I don’t think I’ll be coming back :’(

I was getting my lashes done somewhere else for years and thought it was normal for all your lashes to fall out in 2 to 3 weeks but I got my lashes done at Fitzroy and even on my 4th week my lashes looked full, I couldn’t believe it! I highly recommend this place, absolutely in love with the service and the girls are very lovely! Neat and clean salon, 10/10. I would never go anywhere else now!

I've had my brows shaped three times here. The first two times I was really pleased. But I had them done yesterday and not only did it hurt more than usual, but they were left quite uneven. Far too much had been taken off one brow so it looks unbalanced with the other. I don't want to remove more of the 'good' one to match so I'll just have to wait for it to grow back! It's a shame because up until then I had been really happy with the service.
