So, my first experience was 2 stars. I was attended to by a friendly young lady who initially started my acrylic full set. Anyhow, then was taken over by the male technician. At first pleasant then, huffy all because I asked for the tips to be placed higher so for my benefit if the tip does snap it won't tear my own thin nail right off to the edge of the nail bed. He argued, even though it's my choice and is how I've been having my acrylics applied for 15+ years and have had zero issues with other techs. Well, didn't I receive lip service from a 'professional nail tech of, not 15 but,..20 years. Raised brows and a flushed face and very flustered he became. But, placed the tip higher as he could see I wasn't impressed by his manner, and luckily I bit my tongue and not let his rant ruin my vibe. I sat in silence and he huffed occasionally every so often if my wrist or hand was placed too awkwardly for him.. He clearly was just agitated by anything. Anyhow, another lady had walked in and politely said her nail had just 'come off' only days after.... Yes, this should have been a red flag as he became even more agitated that his other tech would now have to attend to the repair free of charge and spoke his language back and fourth with nothing to say to his other customer but bad body language to which she looked at me like she was very embarrassed. And even though I was pleased with his work that day I could sense something was not 100% right but I paid, left and admired my lovely fresh set of nails. However 4 days later they appeared to be lifting, all 10.... to the point they just all fell off and the others I removed effortlessly embarrassed and at a dinner function. So I was back to pay for another full set no complaints thinking maybe a hair product I'd used had softened the nails, thinking it was possibly my fault somehow........ But again now, Another brand new set and another $50 paid.. and just 2 days after a complete new set re applied.... Here I am. Removing the remaining 4 nails hanging by a thread, coming off effortlessly before my job interview. Yes,. Only done Saturday evening and it's now Tuesday. I've had my nails done before, for 15 years and I'm meticulous and gentle to sometimes have even stretched a refill to almost 6 weeks before any lifting or breakage occurs. So,. Dear pearl Nails.... I will not be back ever again. And for future reference, if you're so experienced and professional... Your body language and constant chatter in your own language is quite offensive, rude and clearly...... Your nails speak for themselves. UNPROFESSIONAL. Read Less
