The absolute worst nail place I have ever visited. I asked the lady if she could complete my shellac in 25 minutes because I had an appointment and she agreed. After about 40 minutes - she still had not completed the shellac and it was all bubbly and absolutely horrid. She blamed the nail polish and asked me to come back after the appointment. She was extremely rude and dismissive. I came back after the appointment and they took off the shellac, my thumb was cut and she also drilled my hand. I decided not to reapply the shellac because the service was unprofessional, nail polish was disgusting and looked worse than if I had painted it myself in the dark. She asked me to pay 20 dollars just for taking the shellac and didn’t even offer me a discount for the delay and horrendous service. I have never been charged 20 dollars just to remove shellac. I have always been charged 12 dollars to remove shellac both in city and suburban nail salons. I refused to pay and walked out. Never visit this place. I get my nails done regularly at different places and this is by the far the most atrocious salon ever. Will never set foot in there again. Read Less

This lady could not have given less of a sh** about my nails. My thumb bled I had to ask her to stop being rough about 4 times. Such a bad acrylic infill job. The lady was older and seemed to be the owner of the salon. So bad. Even the paint job is terrible. Read Less

Worst nail salon in Doncaster (highly recommend ‘sns nail services’ around the corner).. sns cracked off within a day so I went in to get two nails repaired (so I could match the colour) and I was refused due to them being ‘fully booked’ although they took in someone behind me wanting a full set of sns .. not even a week later and I’m due for my nails to be done again as they’ve nearly all cracked off, to top it off they’re very rude and will text in your face making the whole process much slower than it needs to be Read Less

I tensed up for the rest of the fleeting session and still, she can ask me to relax even after it happened. Everything was done in a rush (the store was not busy at all??? If I could rate this a minus 5 star I would... as it’s not even worthy a star.. My first experience with Odyssey was with Tracey who was fantastic. HOWEVER on my second visit, I did not get Tracey, I got a new girl who was terrible! She filed my nails crooked (not even sure how she managed that!?) and tried to blame it on my finger not being straight... c’mon! No proper manicure, no hand/nail moisturer after treatment and the top coat was so thick it was dripping off so she had to redo. I actually can’t believe how bad it was. AN ACTUAL JOKE. Booked in my nails for my wedding, well in advance, with Jess and she didn't show up for the appointment. The staff there were so rude about it it was awful. Please don't go there it's not worth the stress and the customer service is dreadful!! Read Less

Went for an eyebrow wax asked the price she said $15. Then during the wax she said "oh I'll do your lip as well." I went to pay she charged me $28, I asked why and she said the lip was extra $13! This was not communicated to me the way she just started Waxing my lip and casually mentioned it made it sound for free. A fine salon, but what sums it up best for me is that $60 was pretty pricey for a mediocre experience - and manicure.I decided to try Odyssey because Hollywood Nails upstairs was really busy. Someone sat me down pretty quick here, though the line piled up as soon I was being worked on.The girl helping me didn't seem that experienced - it took her close to 45 minutes just to remove my nail polish (which is a $15 up charge!). I was physically nauseous by the end of the experience because she was soaking my nails in an open bowl of polish remover, rather than using cotton balls and foil, and the fumes were really strong.I tried to ask for foil, but there was a major language barrier and I didn't really get anywhere. The other ladies there weren't really interested in helping me out. The manicure itself was okay. I asked for oval nails and was trying to get them thinner, but the language barrier struck again and my nails came out looking like misshapen potatoes.Looking back, I realize the girl didn't even do any maintenance on my cuticles. And I left with random bits of clear polish stuck all over my hand. Plus, only two coats of the actual polish.So, it took an hour and ten minutes to get a not-so-great gel manicure, I left nauseous, and paid way more than I should have. I would have said something, but I was in a huge hurry to get to an event.Moral of the story, I think, is not to get your nails done in a mall.(In terms of color selection - they're fine. It was a beautiful day and for the first time in AGES I had some extra spending money! Went for normal a spa pedicure. Enquired as to the price and was told $45. The woman encouraged me to get shellac polish as I was wearing covered shoes and it could dry straight away. I got the same color I had selected previously and my toes looked great. She didn't however tell me that it cost an extra $30!!! I was left in shock and was very embarrassed to come up with the extra money. Had she informed me that it would be so much extra I would have declined as I cannot afford that much! I feel like it was very deceitful for her to not tell me upfront.
