Super dissapointed. Firstly, went to your location across the road and got sent to this one. Told the lady, I wanted replacement acrylic, was with my partner, she told me it was about a 15 min wait. .... so we waited, 20 mins in she comes up to me and asks if id be ok comin in tomorrow after a new customer walks in an asks if she can get SNS, my assumption is its a more costly procedure so she would prefer to make more money? Understandable but we had been waiting 20 mins !?! I say unfortunately- im not going to wait any longer - she then asks if I can book in tomorrow? Absolutely not. Terrible service. Read Less

I went in for a mani pedi on a Sunday, not busy at all, the girls were sitting down eating when I went in. The water was cold with no soap. The towels were dirty with stains all over them. She started filing away at my feet straight away and left no time to soak and didn't really do anything at all my feet are still rough. She then started painting straight away and was done in about 10 minutes, she didn't use any moisturiser. She started on my nails and I had to ask her to reshape a few times. The she sprayed my nails and started with the Shellac. I asked her to clean away the dust/filings and she said it would be fine..I insisted and she was frustrated but let me. Again no moisturiser. All up I was in and out in about 30 mins, they charged me 75, which i think is more than most places. Also all tools used weren't clean and I saw them being used straight away on another customer. All Stars is just a bit further down the road, cheaper, waaaay cleaner and friendlier, and do an amazing job. Read Less

My nails never looked so terrible, they are all crooked and different shapes even though I kept repeating myself! No experience at all! And to top it off I paid $50 for sns when I was quoted $40. I won't be coming again, down the street All stars nails only charge $35-40 and they do good work! Don't waste your money! Almost all the Tips and Toes do a terrible job! Read Less

They were asking for 40 for shellac when down the road at All Star Nails you get it for 27. The pedicure we got was pathetic. .the water was freezing cold and there was no soap in the water. Not friendly at all. Dont waste your $$$$ Read Less

I've been here a couple of times cause of its location - it's ten minutes away from my apartment. Whenever I have a last minute event, this would be my go to place for a quick touch up. The good thing about this nail salon is that I can just walk in without an appointment. You might question its credibility since you would've expected good nail salons to be booked out. Well, to save you the hassle of trying it out, it is true that their services isn't as spectacular as other nail salons. But it is not too bad either. It depends entirely on the manicurist. Try to ask for the experts: the ones who have more than 2 years of experience. Also try to pop by during non peak hours, around 1ish to 4pm. The busier they are, the more careless they could be. For example, I just got my nails done around noon and had a small cut due to my manicurist's diverted attention. Price wise I would say it isn't too expensive either but it could be cheaper based on the inconsistent quality of service. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking for a fast emergency solution to your nail problems. Read Less

After scouring the streets of Northern Melbourne for a nail salon the whole Australia Day weekend, I finally stumbled upon this place. In the States I get my nails done every weekend. Apparently it's something Aussies only do for weddings -- pretty much the definition of low-maintenance!Anyway, I scrambled into the place at the sight of a sign for a $40 gel manicure. I was at the point where I would have settled for any old dump, but this place is spic and span. The manicure was probably the best I've had in terms of attention to detail, so I opted for an eyebrow wax, having shocked myself by taking a close look in the mirror last night. For $15, those little caterpillars were whipped into shape and the uneven-ness from the last go was corrected. Read Less
