I went to twenty one nails because I read many good reviews about them and I had a bad experience with the place nearest to me. But I am so disappointed in my acrylic nails. They are half assed, you can still see the tip of my real nail on 4 out of 10 of my nails. She also half assed painting my nails & rushed it. Thank you TwentyOne Nails & Spa for taking me last minute (literally last minute and had never been... they replied within the hour) and fixing up my toes for me! I can’t remember which nail technician I had but she did an amazing job on my horrendously under-cared for feet! Thanks for taking the time to make sure my toes were pain free by the end of the pedicure and also being very attentive to detail and making sure they looked beautiful by the time I left! My SNS chipped on majority of nails after three days of getting them done. I asked for a manicure and they told me I didn't need it rather than just doing what the customer requests. My sns was not buffed with the electric filer at all and because of this my SNS looks bumpy and scratched. My cuticles aren't cut back. The whole look and experience was just really bad. My friend and I walked in without an appointment for Shellac manicure and pedicure. They were available straight away and were super lovely with helping to choose colours. First time I have ever been to a nail salon and felt like part of the conversation as opposed to sitting listening to ladies talking around me! They had about 3 walk ins while we both were getting our nails done and they made time for everyone. We were not rushed at all and I have to say it's one of my favourite manicures of all time!!! This was my first time being there and I must say it was wonderful! I have absolutely no complaints. The place smells yummy and the girls that were there were very friendly and welcoming. They have a wide range of colour and designs. My favorite part is that they actually use new tools each time!! Most places will reuse the same files ect which is nasty. On par with other nail salons I have visited (in terms of price, quality, availability) BUT the best atmosphere I have experienced. It was calm, personal, and relaxed. I really liked that the ladies doing your nails don't talk to one another in a different language and just treat you like hands and feet. They actually just focus on you and make polite conversation. Very friendly service and good prices but I've been overbooked before, it took 2.5 hours to get through a spa pedicure and shellac because the nail tech was way over scheduled, even though I had an appointment. Strike 2 was arriving for my 9:30 appointment to find the spa not open yet and after waiting and calling I went elsewhere. I think I'll pay a bit extra and have high quality, natural products and reliability with appointments elsewhere in future. Nail Affair is a large and brightly lit hair, nail and tanning salon on the first level of The Well. Upon arrival at this sparkling clean salon the staff acknowledge you and whisk you away to various area's of the salon, depending on your reason for visiting. I have only been here for a manicure ($20) which included french polish or colour (I chose a deep raspberry) the manicure lasts about half an hour and the staff are friendly and professional.Despite arriving on a Sunday without an appointment I was happily accommodated. Nail Affair claim to be 'no-frills' however I didn't feel that during my visit. The treatments appear to be good value but the environment was too nice for me to think no-frills. Read Less
