Such a nice place! I've never been to a salon where I felt so comfortable and looked after! There is only one little issue I think, they would definitely need a receptionist there, as the girls a so busy, and they have to answer the phone calls and do bookings while doing their job 😅 Other than that, everything was amazing! Wow! What an amazing nail salon. So clean and hygienic, all the polishes are 5 or 7 free, a beautiful massage included in my classic mani. Relaxing ambience and lovely staff. Made a booking for my best friends 21st over a month ago, my appointment was confirmed over email and on the phone, then on the day of my booking I was called up and told my booking was at a completely different time. We couldn't make this new time and they did nothing to try and get me in at my original booked and confirmed time. I don't understand how they messed up the time for a booking that was made online and then confirmed twice. had to cancel the booking as they were unwilling to compromise, and had to make a last minute booking elsewhere. Natural high quality products used | gorgeous Scando decor and meticulous nail therapists. Literally the best nail salon I've been to in a long, long time. If you don't have a good experience here it's probably a once off or you are a strange customer....the owner is very passionate about her business and as a person who suffers from contact dermatitis I couldn't fault them and my skin didn't flare up. Hands down the best nail salon in Melbourne! I've never experienced such an exceptional, accommodating customer experience in all my life, let alone paired with an extremely hygienic work ethic (each customer has their own dedicated, sterile set of equipment used on them) and talented nail technicians. I called up on a Sunday for a manicure/pedicure – I had an event come up suddenly with only a couple of days notice and thought I'd try for a last minute appointment that day – assuming I'd be turned away. Instead, the owner offered to stay back for me to do my manicure/pedicure – which was simply over and above expectation and I still got the full works including massage. I cannot be grateful enough for the service I've received here and also for the stunning manicure/pedicure I got for my event! I love Missy Lui. I am now a regular customer and this is the only nail salon I will now go to. The service is always high quality and the staff are always so helpful and happy. Best of all, they use all natural products. No toxic chemicals and the salon does not smell toxic. The staff don't need to wear masks. I don't like nail salons where the staff wear masks yet you have to sit there and breath in the toxic smells. Such a lovely pleasant experience and my nails and toes look beautiful. In a nutshell: a professional customised service, very welcoming staff, healthier products, extra clean tools & a peaceful, well decorated and lightly perfumed room (no smell of chemicals). Our experience: My friends and I went to the salon on a Sunday. Although we did not have an appointment the owner went out of her way to accommodate all three of us namely by calling in another team member. We all had a "classic pedicure" which was far from classic as you literally soak your feet in a bath of milk, honey and essential oils. The "classic" formula also includes a massage with a nourishing cream in addition to the usual steps. The combination of the massage and bath of essential oils was so relaxing that my pregnant friend forgot her back pains enough to fall asleep. :) We also had two "Express" and one "Classic" manicure. The three professionals who took care of us were friendly, meticulous and thorough. They put as much care in the express manicure as in the classic one. Only the number of steps differ not the level of service. The products contain fewer chemicals than the usual brands yet still look flawless when applied (lasting just as much). To be mentioned as well, there was a great choice of colors and a vegan sheilac nail polish was also available (which I chose). Also noticeable, all the tools are sterilised and files are used only once (you receive the one that was used on your nails as a gift). Absolutely LOVED my experience at Missy Lui. Made a last minute appointment on Christmas Eve and was accommodated no problem. I had two girls working on my hands and feet at once so I was in and out like a flash! I had a shellac French on my hands and standard Polish for my feet. The shellac is perfect and the girls made touch ups to my requests no problems. The products are so fresh and natural. Theres no strong smell when you walk in like at some salons and its so light and relaxing inside. I will definitely be coming back. So cheap, so professional. Really happy. Read Less

I've been looking for a moderately priced nail bar in Melbourne for awhile and I've finally found a winner.Missy Lui has super friendly staff who will get you a herbal tea whilst you choose your nail colours. The fitout of the store is not like your average salon - blonde wood, fresh cut flowers, mint tones... all very scandi and relaxing.I've been here twice now and will definitely be returning. I loved Missy Lui. What a beautiful place to be pampered. I stopped by Missy Lui on a trip to Melbourne recently and was attracted by the fact that it uses all natural products - non-toxic. Plus, it's warm and calm atmosphere. Many nail shops smell toxic and the staff are wearing masks and you can feel ill after leaving from the toxic smell. Not at Missy Lui, no toxic smells - fresh, clean and high quality service. The staff are wonderful and I loved my manicure and pedicure along with the extra pampering and massage that went with it. By far the best nail salon I've ever been to. The space is airy and light, no foul or toxic smells, lots of plants and relaxing music playing. My sister and I had luxe pedicures and it was such a wonderful experience - the ladies were very thorough and didn't rush at all, and were so gentle I could have fallen asleep. I honestly hate to write this bad review because the girls were just absolutely lovely. But I honestly was disappointed with the quality of the service I paid for. When my nail polish was applied it was all bubbly and when I asked why, I was told that it was due to not much polish left in the bottle. I was kindly asked to have my nails repainted again, but it should have been done well in the first place. Missy Lui is not your typical local nail salon. Before I get started, bring yourself a cup of tea because I'm telling you why from my personal experience. 1. Acetone-smell free! I walked it, and I was warmly greeted by the staff, Maria. ... I expected the "typical" acetone smell; guess what? NOPE! No chemical smell. It was like walking into a sanctuary. 2. Toxic-free products. I'm not a hard-core health freak but most of the time, I try to avoid using harmful chemical products. These toxic-free nail products definitely put my mine on ease. 3. Hygiene. One thing I learn from working in a health care profession is, nail infection. I've seen so many clients' nail being infected from the local nail salon due to the poor hygienic level of sanitisation. This is the main reason why it puts me off getting my nails done. Missy Lui is different - they do the right thing and I don't have to worry about nail infections. 4. Staff Maria was on duty today and she's fantastic! I have to confess, my nails are horrible, and I was so ready being judged. Maria didn't. In her reply, she's here to help. She makes me feel very welcomed and comfortable. P/s: She speaks English and make eye contacts. She is not the typical local nail salon staffs who speak in their own language and certainly don't care about your nails.*wink* I can go on and on 'bout Missy Lui.
