Been visiting Samui Sunset Nail Spa for 1.5 yrs now after a family member discovered it. Walk in's are allowed (what I usually do).
Fantastic service by the girls. Very affordable prices. Yes, nail polish removal is an extra $5 (for gel and shellac, I don't think there's extra for regular polish) but that's because it takes a lot of time and product to take these types of polishes off and it is clearly stated in the salon.
I'm not sure what brand of gel polish they use but I find it stays on 1-1.5 weeks longer than other salons I've tried and there's SO many colours to choose from! My gel polish tends to last 3 weeks before wear and tear on the ends are noticeable from every day activities.
Really, I have nothing bad to say about this nail salon. I'll be back soon to get my nails re-done! :)
Lots of free parking out the front and being situated on a tram line is a bonus.

Unfortunately this nail salon has gone downhill. Expensive. $5:00 extra is charged for removal of polish. This is not on their pricing list. It was very pleasant going into the salon when Vietnamese was not spoken loudly. Cleanliness is questionable. Unwanted conversation from the male owner, who seems to lurk about is not appreciated. Now to look for another salon.

I wrecked my feet wearing dumb shoes on New Years Eve and my feet/toes were really hurting... I wanted somewhere close and easy to get to and came across Tina's. I only wish I had found it sooner! I had the Lemon Pedicure by Anna, and HOLY COW what a difference! She saved my feet! Such a relaxing clean atmosphere, very chill music, and now I have beautiful toes to boot! I will definitely be back!

My daughter was in town for her Bridal shower and wanted to treat herself to a mani pedi and me to a mani. We both got a full set of nails also. At first staff seemed nice but when my daughter didn't like the way the polish looked on her nails the tech became annoyed and passed her off to another tech. My tech was nice but the polish on my nails didnt last three says before it started to come off. We had to ask for a refund on my daughters full set because the tech could not do matte nails as she promised and also didn't have the diamonds from the pictures we showed her like she said she did. This may be a good place for some but never again for us. We spent over $100 in there...tip not included for nails that did not look the best and did not last.

This place is ridiculous. A friend and I went here for gel, she got the full gel mani ($40) and I just got the polish ($25). It has been a week since we've gotten them done and all the nails have fallen off in one peice like stickers. I called and they refused to fix. Never returning here.

Been visiting Samui Sunset Nail Spa for 1.5 yrs now after a family member discovered it. Walk in's are allowed (what I usually do).

Unfortunately this nail salon has gone downhill. Expensive. $5:00 extra is charged for removal of polish. This is not on their pricing list.
