I went into Hollywood nails to get an acrylic full set and I was sat down by the lady who was very rude and not polite at all! I chose the colour I wanted and she proceeded with doing my nails once it was up to curing the acrylic she wouldn’t even leave it under the UV light till it beeped she was rushing them and this led to bubbles,smudging and cracking of the nails to the point the colour was coming off so I went back and I asked for something to be done the next day I got sat down and they did nothing but put another clear coat on this did nothing. It wasn’t even a week later when the painting of the nail started to crack off and every nail had bubbles so I went back again and I was told by one of the ladies that I’m overanalysing my nails and basically called me a liar when I showed her my nails, she was very unpolite and rude. She did not redo them and left my nails cracked with bubbles. I would not recommend going here the staff are horrible and the service is overall bad waster of money.

Wouldn’t even rate this place a star if I could. I was a regular customer and had no problem with the workers until I had the most humiliating experience. I asked for a full set of sns with tip and the lady screwed up, to tell me it was my fault and “I should’ve clarified”?? (Mind you it was my first time ever getting sns and I asked for a full set when I walked in, so not my fault). All shity with me she said she’ll redo it. So I sat down and as she comes over to redo it, she spoke her language to the other women which they all began to stare and mock me, feeling very embarrassed and disgusted with how rude and how terrible the customer service was, I got up and left. Shittest nail job and rudest staff, never coming back again.

Not impressed asked for full hard gel nail got response yes we do them just like acrylics but with gel powder... about 1 1/2 hour later a lot of pain on both hands spoke with another nail tech these were not gel nails as gel does not come in powder.
Went back they removed them but would not give me my money back $55 back this was the cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be careful.

Arrived early,
Left sitting, they continued to take walk ins,
When I asked about my appointment and if they were going to honour it
Was told yes however could you wait a further 20 mins,
I said no you have taken in more customers while I waited even though they were for pedicure,
Which has left me waiting 45 mins over my appointment time, I had other appointments to go to ,
Still left to wait another 10mins then nails done,
Left with bits underneath length not checked under not filed,
And suffered lifting , because of another appointment I left and went back and showed them,
Still charged me 10 dollars to shorten even up and file,
I will not return and strongly recommend trying another salon,
Unless they make some big improvements and stop being all about the money and not customers and honour,
Sunday's are the worst I believe,
No longer a customer

I had a pedicure with Shellac yesterday 21/10 and certainly did not get what I paid for and had been looking forward to it all week. The girl who tended to me was less than interested and cut corners...
I had a pedicure with Shellac yesterday 21/10 and certainly did not get what I paid for and had been looking forward to it all week. The girl who tended to me was less than interested and cut corners at every chance. She even slammed the bottle of polish down when she realised one nail had marked and rather than buff it out, she painted over top hoping it wouldn't show. On top of this whilst still sitting in the chair the foot spa was cleaned and I then had to take in the smell of the cleaners that were used. Not a very pleasant experience at all :/ and given I have just started coming back to them, I will rethink that decision next time

A month ago I got SNS refills here and had zero complaints. Came back with a friend last week and had a completely different experience. My friend seemed to have an experienced tech who did her acrylic/shellac to perfection, I had a tech that seemed very unsure of herself seemed to be getting some tips from the experienced tech beside us. I sat for an extremely long time as my tech was having a lot of difficulty. I ended up with uneven and ugly nails. One nail in particular is not even close to smooth and barely has the shape of a nail.. instead it has waves of hardened SNS. The tech may have been new and in training but the experienced tech did not check over my nails or ensure that she knew what she was doing. I was never asked what shape I wanted and when I mentioned i prefer them pointy she continued to file them rounded. Most people like me won't make a fuss and complain.. they just won't come back. Who wants to pay $50 for an experience like the one I had.

I have been going to this salon for many years and have been happy, but I feel they need a receptionist. I lost count of the amount of times my technician got up to answer phone and attend to walk in queries. What also annoyed me was the fact that the lady who was doing my pedicure asked me to wait another 5 minutes while she squeezed in a waxing. She put an extra treatment on my legs (which I thought was a bonus for being so patient) I didn't request this and was charged at the end. Being a long term loyal customer I'm not impressed. Seriously considering going elsewhere.

I went into Hollywood nails to get an acrylic full set and I was sat down by the lady who was very rude and not polite at all! Not impressed asked for full hard gel nail got response yes we do them just like acrylics but with gel powder... about 1 1/2 hour later a lot of pain on both hands spoke with another nail tech these were not gel nails as gel does not come in powder.
Went back they removed them but would not give me my money back $55 back this was the cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be careful.

I had a pedicure with Shellac yesterday 21/10 and certainly did not get what I paid for and had been looking forward to it all week. The girl who tended to me was less than interested and cut corners at every chance. She even slammed the bottle of polish down when she realised one nail had marked and rather than buff it out, she painted over top hoping it wouldn't show. I have been going to this salon for many years and have been happy, but I feel they need a receptionist.
