I've been a regular here, but found that making an appointment is pretty much a waste of time - you get better service as a walk in. Nonetheless, as a treat for my daughter's birthday I made an appointment for the two of us four days in advance and when we arrived we were told to go away and come back at another time. That's not actually how appointments work. Phoned a nearby salon and they were available to help, went there instead. As a regular at Burnside have had pretty inconsistent services, and at least twice had to point out the price quoted at the outset was different to what they were attempting to charge me as I was leaving. I've had gel mani's and pedi's at Burnside Nails & Spa on a few occasions now and have always had a good experience. They're usually pretty easy to get into (the last time I went I called up only half an hour before to get in), the pricing is pretty good and my gel nails have generally lasted me a good 3-4 weeks on my hands and longer on my toes.I had one instance where a nail came off after only a few days and they would have fixed this for me if I'd been able to get in, but unfortunately I didn't have time to get in there.
