Just another asian nailplace that prioritises money over customer service and customer garenteer. With all do respect, I have only visited once, but I wasn't satisfied at all with my acrylic nails. I know it comes down to the technician I had but I'd rather go somewhere where excellent customer service is practised. Came with a friend in her birthday, and was expecting something better, based on the reviews I read. Instead, I found the place quite dirty, and the experience disappointing. Exfoliating etc was rushed and not done properly at all. Nails cut at different lengths and crooked, and polish applied hurriedly. Also, $35 (!) extra for gel polish is a ridiculous extra charge. I have been a customer here for many years for varying nail services and I walk out feeling like a Goddess everytime. The owner and staff are so courteous and what they don't know about nails isn't worth knowing. The salon is always well staffed and clean and they always do their best to fit a client in. The most amazing experience here. I'd been coming for the last year while working in the city and generally a nice experience, though coming back with a newborn a few days ago cemented the service for me. He was unsettled and I was struggling to get through my nail appointment, I instantly had a number of employees at my side, helping me settle him, cuddling him and calming him to get me through. They worked the nails around me and feeding and made me feel comfortable when I'd otherwise have been very flustered and stressed. So appreciative. Definitely my go to nail salon. HORRIBLE! Went here for a manicure. They charged me $30 for a manicure with french tips. Right off the bat they tell me they can't give a french manicure with coloured nail polish. Then tells me that they need to cut off my already moderately long nails, because if they are not short enough they cant do french tips. This came off as a ridiculous explanation to me given that I already had a picture, showing what i wanted. The lady who seemed to be head of the salon took one look at the picture and said "No we cant do that" It was extremely rude and unprofessional. Given the situation I settled for french tips with clear nail polish. The lady who was doing my nails took her time with my Manicure and started the process. While she was prepping me for the manicure, she injured the cuticle on my index finger and it started bleeding. This was extremely painful and until i told her "hey it is bleeding" she didn't seem to even put any ointment on it! Then she went ahead and painted the french tips. She did an okay job on it and took her time. But only applied one coat of clear nail polish over the nails!? This seemed extremely ridiculous given this was supposed to be a french manicure. I was extremely annoyed at this, but didnt want to bring it up given how they already said no to my other requirements (french nails with color) In one day, the nails are already chipped in my right hand. No wonder as it will happen with only one coat of nail polish! in 3 days, the CLEAR NAIL POLISH PEELED OFF! I left the salon feeling bad about how my nails looked! They looked shorter than I wanted (due to her cutting off my nails saying french wouldnt look good on me with long nails), and not feeling happy with this manicure. I will never go there again!
