not recommended ever! They filed my natural nails with the drill even if I asked about carefulness before, because I had already thin nails. Terrible nails. I went to get my nails done and when I came out my nails were a mess! The nail polish was sooo thick and I could the layers at the bottom of my nail! Everyone I swear, DON’T GO THERE. Yes the staff was nice and the massage was good but terrible manicure! Totally not worth it for $25! Also didn’t even get a discount when I showed my student ID card. Attitude is terrible, been twice now and got the same lady....nails look good but nearly walked out due to the aggression - throwing my hands back and forth and giving me filthy looks when I asked her to cut nails shorter and later, put glitter on. I spent $70 ($50 for nails and $20 to buy hand scrub), they obviously didn't value my custom - lady was so angry that I asked for glitter she didn't even let me choose which one! Just left the salon genuinely upset as the whole experience was verging on assault and I paid good money but didn't get exactly what I wanted as I was too terrified to push it re the glitter! Very rough, lack of detail, there were patches where it was rough and spiky, I did ask them to take a look again but she responded with "that's the glitter" Been getting my nails done many many times before (not at this place) So I knew what to expect. i could have done a better job, if I'd known how bad she was obviously I would have done it myself. Your service seems to depend on what technician you get, but there is a distinct feeling of getting you out asap. Cuticles were nicked, showed supervisor to get messy edges fixed (by a different technician) and gel bubbled as it needed longer in the UV lamp. Used to be a regular customer but won't be going back. Did an alright job on my nails- including one finger of nail art on each hand, but the attitude was terrible. Everything was too hard- trying to explain a simple design, a touch up, or extra coat on a couple of fingers (because it was a dark colour that looked washed out without it) came with an eye roll and a dirty look. I felt really uncomfortable. Even though I paid, it felt I had asked someone to do a favour. I won't be going back. Update- one of my cuticles has been bleeding since it was done three days ago & the gel polish has air bubbles. They were too busy to allow me twice through under the Uv light at the end. I had to come back and update my review from 10 months ago after my experience today. I was going to this salon for 6 months before moving in February. Was visiting today in July and was looking forward to getting SNS and a pedicure for my wedding. Big disappointment. The lady that used to do my nails has left and the lady that did them today was awful. They are uneven all over each nail and I felt very uneasy as she was filing as she was scraping my cuticles and got me pretty badly once. The lady that did my pedicure put the gel all down the sides of my toenail up onto my skin which will lift in a couple of days for sure. Now I'm going to have to find somewhere tomorrow (the day before I get married) and pay again for someone to fix. $100 (expensive even for good service) wasted. I used to go here fortnightly for years but stopped in mid 2016 as I moved away. Went back in June 2017, I feel like management has changed or they arent delivering the same quality they used to? Maybe they had an off day and the more uninterested staff on duty. My pedicure was great. My SNS removal and reapplication was a bit lacking. They nicked me with the buffing thing, the colour doesnt match what I selected (I think they couldnt find the colour I actually wanted, and it looks grainy compared to a strong opaque colour which I am used to with SNS), and my nails were filed on a slant. When I pointed out the slant in my nails, they told me that it was the shape of my nail. It hasnt been the shape of my nail for when I used to go to this salon for a few good years and other salons I go to when I moved away for a bit. Its ok....I just wont bother coming back. Read Less

Went in for a mani/pedi with my brother.  Walked out feeling like a puddle of goo.  Staff was friendly and professional.  They took time and care to ensure that my hands and feet were in excellent condition.  They have books with colors actually panted on nails so you can pick what the color is going to look like not what it looks like in the bottle with is usually a huge difference.My brother was treated just the same as I was although he did forgo color.  Staff supplied us with water when requested and the massages that came with the treatment were just divine.Price was pretty average for the area with a 10% discount available for pensioners, students and center employees.
