I won't go into the whole story but my experience was very poor. First, my nail tech cut my fingers multiple times while filing my nails and when polish had gotten on them, I had to ask her to stop to wipe it off the skin because it burned so badly. I work in the restaurant business so my fingers have been burning the past two days at work. I asked for almond shaped nails with black matte color. Instead I got coffin shape nails with plain black. When I asked for the matte finish, my tech told me that she already put a shin finish and that "they look pretty". They didn't look bad, however, I paid $42 for nails I didn't want. We were so rushed!! Not a good experience at all!! $40 for the powder polish & that don't include the manicure?!? WTH On top of that they look unfinished. I never go back. Made an appointment two days in advance having a very busy schedule. I was the first client in Kim's schedule. I came in as scheduled but Kim had already started a pedicure with someone else, asking if I could come back half an hour later, which I did. Now Kim had started a manicure with someone, not even the same person she had earlier. I waited over fifteen minutes, nothing. My original appointment was at ten, now it was 11;15 and I was asked if I could come in some other day! Not only was the attitude and behavior of Kim totally unprofessional but rude as well.. Why to make an appointment if apparently all the walk-ins have the priority! Greediness from the part of the salon. I went the big chop, waist length to chin length, and Alana listened & offered suggestions & I felt totally confident with her cutting / colouring my hair. And I LOVE it! After making it a point to schedule my appointment a week in advance, I arrive for my pedicure, only to have my nail tech get up in the middle of working on my toes to administer an eyebrow wax on another client. She never bothered to say "I'll be right back" or apologize for leaving me sitting there for 20 minutes. She seemed to have an attitude problem to begin with.
