My partner and I were searching for a talented, qualified nail technician. We messaged this company, and once we had shared with the person corresponding we received a message back that happened to be out of the price range we were hoping for. That was fine. After we had told her that she is talented, however expensive - we asked if she had any recommendations that may be a bit cheaper and she replied with “Sorry but I don't use cheap illegal products and they aren't cheap I also need to pay myself for the 1 and a half to two hours as well” and then proceeded to tell us that ‘proper’ nails don’t take up to an hour which indirectly seemed to us that she was trying to insinuate as though any other salon or technician that would usually finish in an hour, ‘wasn’t good enough’. After that she said “anywhere I can recommend is more than me and I am also qualified”. So not only did she turn a possible customer away rudely, she then blocked us from her page right after she sent the message and also blocked us from messaging her back. I then messaged her from my page and mentioned writing a review and that the way she spoke to my partner was rude and not business appropriate, only to see that I too, had been blocked. We were both shocked and appalled that a ‘professional’ would act like that to possible clients, even though she was out of the price range of what we would have liked to spend, there was every possibility we may have come back, but with the rude mannerisms and the nastiness and degrading of other salons and technicians, we have decided that regardless of whether or not she is talented, we would never recommend this business or technician.
