I've been going to this salon for 10 years
I have gel nails with shellac colours that last until the next infil (3-4 weeks)
I have pedicures also
I WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Tracy ... the manager is fastidious with the instruments and every aspect of her business.
I was just reading some of the negative reviews
I can tell you that I have honestly sat and watched over the ten years of using this business ... many many hours .... and I have NEVER seen most of the things that have been portrayed in a negative light in these reviews.
IF ....there is a problem .. it is usually with the customer not treating their nails properly.
The lady who says she was forgotten in the room ? I find that highly unlikely as the cupboards where they keep everything is in plain sight from there also the wash dryer cupboard AND their break room.
The only thing I can honestly agree on is that the NEW light boxes for drying nails do sometimes get hot .... because ...they are NEW and that can happen ANYWHERE.

I've been here twice before and it was good. This time, though, was different. I got a pedicure and SNS nails. I asked for separate colours for hands and toes. They mixed up the colours and wouldn't fix my feet, so I had to pay to have my toes done wrong. They broke the skin on multiple nails on both hands and feet with the cuticle sticks, causing me to actually flinch. Then, to top it off, they charged me an extra $20 that wasn't on their pricelist and they kept interrupting and talking over me when I tried to point it out.

The ladies here are really nice. I always get my eyebrows waxed here and they're always perfect. I sometimes get SNS done on my nails here and they're great but the lady who owns the salon is the nice...
The ladies here are really nice. I always get my eyebrows waxed here and they're always perfect. I sometimes get SNS done on my nails here and they're great but the lady who owns the salon is the nicest and definitely the best.

Can't seem to justify the price I paid for full set nails with gel polish and normal spa pedi. Paid $105 for that. Looked at their price list and really can't justify where the extra $20 came from. Pl...
Can't seem to justify the price I paid for full set nails with gel polish and normal spa pedi. Paid $105 for that. Looked at their price list and really can't justify where the extra $20 came from. Plus the shape wasn't what I asked for. I'll be going elsewhere for my nails in future.

Poor service, quite rude. Was in the room with eyebrow tint for over half hour as she forgot she was serving me and only noticed as she walked past then rushed putting water and tint in my eye. Prices...
Poor service, quite rude. Was in the room with eyebrow tint for over half hour as she forgot she was serving me and only noticed as she walked past then rushed putting water and tint in my eye. Prices displayed are not what was charged. Will not recommend.

I am terribly disappointed with Shiny Nail. I had previously had some decent nail experiences with them. However, my last visit I had a shellac pedicure and it wasn't obviously proper shellac because it started chipping after 4 days. Their 'new' light machines seemed so harsh it felt like it was burning the skin. Then when I went back for them to fix it, one of the the ladies was so rough with the machine (that takes off shellac) that she end up making skin on my toe bleed. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Usually a nice experience but this afternoon they did a bad job. Streaky toe nails, a lady put the vacuum cleaner cord on my lap to vacuum and the lady that was doing my nails took off. Didn't say you...
Usually a nice experience but this afternoon they did a bad job. Streaky toe nails, a lady put the vacuum cleaner cord on my lap to vacuum and the lady that was doing my nails took off. Didn't say you're done or anything. Another lady came after 10 minutes and said you're done. I said she hasn't finished yet and said sorry we're closed now. Poor experience won't be going back.

Good price. Very nice friendly ladies. Great customer service but they don't do a very good job. My nails were filed at different sizes and rough around the edges. Sorry girls but not a high stand...

I've been here twice before and it was good. This time, though, was different. I got a pedicure and SNS nails. I asked for separate colours for hands and toes. They mixed up the colours and wouldn't fix my feet, so I had to pay to have my toes done wrong. They broke the skin on multiple nails on both hands and feet with the cuticle sticks, causing me to actually flinch. Can't seem to justify the price I paid for full set nails with gel polish and normal spa pedi. Paid $105 for that. Looked at their price list and really can't justify where the extra $20 came from. Plus the shape wasn't what I asked for. I'll be going elsewhere for my nails in future.

I am terribly disappointed with Shiny Nail. I had previously had some decent nail experiences with them. However, my last visit I had a shellac pedicure and it wasn't obviously proper shellac because it started chipping after 4 days. Their 'new' light machines seemed so harsh it felt like it was burning the skin. Then when I went back for them to fix it, one of the the ladies was so rough with the machine (that takes off shellac) that she end up making skin on my toe bleed. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Didn't say you're done or anything. Another lady came after 10 minutes and said you're done. I said she hasn't finished yet and said sorry we're closed now. Poor experience won't be going back.
