I got a manicure done at Adore Nails on Nov 16. The gentleman that provided the service was nice in addition to being very thorough - he was meticulous with the trimming of my cuticles and very gentle. I was in, seated, and out the door in less than an hour. In the 3 days I've had them, I've washed numerous dishes, been hiking, and generally done a lot of abusive activities - they haven't chipped once, unlike manicures I've received in the past. The lady rushed through my pedicure and NONE of my toe nails are even and she burned my legs with Scalding hot water and just went through the motions I'll fix it myself but I tipped her $1.00 . If they're going to hand you a menu to upgrade services they need to do Better ! Adore Nails was a positive experience for my pedicure, manicure, and waxing. The atmosphere and people were great! I appreciated the calm and relaxing experience and noticed that there was a collective effort in making all clients comfortable. I picked a gel polish with the assistance of Lisa and Hirsch. Hirsch took his time with my pedicure and left me with beautiful feet. Then, Lisa went the extra mile with nail art and waxing that looked perfect and didn’t seem to hurt as much as it does when other people do it. The pricing was fair and the gel polish is really holding up great! Overall, a clean, relaxing, beautifying experience, which is how, a day at the spa should feel. Do NOT go here unprofessionalism at the highest, I was asked to come back in 15mins for a pedicure, I go away and come back and they say they cannot do it. The incompetence and lack of structure is deplorable. I've read reviews that were negative about this store but I decided to give it a try as other stores have been ok. I've tried about 4 times, I want to like this place. Everyone is super nice and it seems very clean. BUT they still use the foot graters which are illegal in all but 2 states in the US (NC is not one where it's allowed) and do a lot of damage to live skin. Also every time I've gotten gel nails they crack/peel/chip within the first couple days. They aren't using safe practices and either their polish is bad quality or their techniques aren't thorough. WORST NAILS IVE EVER HAD! Within the first week the shellac had chipped off massively on 3 nails, they accidentally painted my toenails and fingernails 2 different (but similar) colours, took forever, had several different girls switch over to work on them and the coffin shape I chose are uneven. Let's talk about how great Snow is! He took his time and was amazingly gentle with removing my acrylic and re-applying. My nail beds are really sensitive (especially in during nail filing) but he didn't rush and took care to make my nails perfect! We even did a test nail to make sure I liked it! Worst nail experience ever. Rough with my nails, tried to scrape off my old shellac and damaged my nails in the process. Lazy, rude, rough workers. Wrong colours on the cards so if you want nude- you'll get pink! Not willing to change once they realised the colour was wrong- said it wasn't their fault the sample colours faded. After standing over me telling me there was not enough time to change colours- they offered to change but by that stage they had humiliated me. Took only $10 off. Disgusting "service". 0/5 from me. Sensationails is a good place to get your nails done. I had a manicure and pedicure, as well as all of my nails "shellaced" which cost $80. As other reviewers mentioned, conversation is pretty much non-existent due to language barriers but this doesn't turn out to be too bad after the initial shock. The ladies there are great at what they do and did a very good job. The language issue wasn't really a problem to be honest, however it probably would be nice if one of them spoke fluent English just so they could help out with general questions and conversation. The lady I had kept on giving me constant compliments about myself and what I was wearing which was very sweet and flattering. Everyone likes getting their nails done, and Sensationails is as good a place as any to do it.The prices are cheap, and although the conversation is non existent due to language barriers, it's kinda nice to just relax into the massage chair and be pampered.I did once hit a brutal girl who jabbed me under the nail and cut my cuticle so it bled, but she was a once off.  I don't relax as much as I should because of her though... Sensationails is located in Chermside Westfield Shopping Centre and is run by a number of Asian ladies who are great at what they do.  For $50 you can get a spa pedicure and gel overlay polish.  I love the big leather lounges that gently massage your back while your tootsies are pampered.  You pop your feet into a foot spa located at the base of a soothing massage chair.  Your attendant will usually give your leg a light tap when she wants you to lift your foot out of the water.  They start by scrubbing your feet all over with a beautiful exfoliating scrub.  After the exfoliation your feet are rubbed with a pumice stone and any hard areas are removed with a callus shaver.  Your feet are then placed back into the foot spa for a few minutes, dried and massaged with a rich moisturising cream.  The gel overlay polish is my favourite because it doesn't chip and it lasts around a month which suits me because I usually only go once every four to six weeks.  There are so many beautiful colours to choose from.  The best thing about this place is that they have a customer loyalty program so for every third visit you get $5 off.
