I had the most amazing time here yesterday. Not only are my nails IMPECCABLE!!!! But they were also incredibly fast and efficient. I got my old acrylics removed, new ones put on, gel colour and designs done in great time. They’re all straight and perfectly filed. Not only was it great service, it was fun. The staff were friendly, did everything they could do please me and get what I wanted done. We had laughs, banter and a lovely time. I am going to come here as my regular nail place from now on, they are far better than the other places I’ve been in Brisbane so far since I moved here. I loved my experience tonight. I haven't had my nails done for quite awhile, because the last time I did it was a really bad experience and I ended up with raw, cut up fingers. So I haven't had nails for awhile. But it's my sister's wedding in two days and I wanted to get some nice simple, subtle but classy nails done. Plus also it was an incentive for me not to pick at my fingers, I'm an anxious nail biter :/ I had a lovely experience! Not only are the nails beautiful and ev...en better than what I wanted, but also the service was fantastic. I made an appointment because I knew they'd be busy on late night shopping Thursday. Even though they were busy (now I know why!), I did not feel hurried or made to 'move along' so they could get to the next person. The lady who completed my manicure was very rough and actually cut my cuticles twice - however did not appoligise at all. Then the nails did not dry for agggess - they were still not set when I got home. I have been having manicures for years but this was the worst one I've had :( I think the lady who completed my nails was a trainee - I'm sad to it was a terrible experience. Read Less

I usually like this place but for the $65 I was charged for a 45 minutes job was ridiculous. The lady was abrupt, and i had to refile my nails again after saying they were too sharp. Rushed job too expensive. Look after your clients more and listen to them. I am in the beauty industry and the service I received was disappointing as I usually have a nice man who chats to his clients and takes more time. Read Less

My nails are always well done here. Lasts weeks longer than other places, even expensive boutiques. They have fantastic massage chairs if you get mani pedi and they massage your legs and hands. The only downside would be witnessing the wait time of up to half an hour some customers have had when busy. Maybe get there early or later in the day to avoid crowds! Read Less

Me wife had nails done there on Saturday. Beautiful girl did her nails she was very friendly spoke fluent English. Me wife birthday she had amazing nails. Keept talking about how beautiful her nails was to every one at our New Years eve party. Credit to the girl that made me wife very happy. Can't remember her name but me wife been there many times had never had a fullset as exceptional as these last one, she spoke fluent English and could do anything my wife ask her to. Read Less

I have been going to Prestige Salon for 18 months now and have always left happy with my nails and or pedicure. I did get cut once but the girl was very apologetic and it was no dramas. My last visit is the first time where my shellac has chipped off within a day so I have peeled it all off and will be returning this week. Read Less

After hearing good things from other people i decided to bring my daughter here so we could both get mini pedis done. We were having a girls day out and wanted to get our toe nails painted before our hair appointment. With ample time to kill, we walked in and asked if there was any availability for us and if we would have enough time before our hair appointment which i stated was at 3pm. Firstly, the English/language barrier was extremely hard to over come. I had to repeat an...d/or re ask numerous times which was a bit frustrating. We were told to sit in 2 chairs- someone filled up my foot bath- with scolding hot water and left- i had to adjust the temperature myself. And that was it. My daughter and i sat in the chairs waiting for approx. 25 minutes, with no acknowledgment, no follow up- we were ignored completely. Other staff finished up with customers and the staff left and other people (walk ins like myself and daughter) 4 in total- were seated and tended to straight away. Yet we were still sitting/waiting in the pedi chairs being completely ignored. 10 mins until our hair appointment and my daughter getting very upset- i called out to a staff member for a towel, said we were leaving and that how we were treated- or lackthereof- was completely unprofessional and that i was extremely upset that we were ignored the entire time- i specifically told the lady our next appointment was at 3pm and yet we hadnt been served whereas all other walk ins had. No one said a word until we were literally walking out the door and only one staff member shouted out "sorry". If you're planning on having a girls day with your child or would like actual service- i wouldnt recommend this salon at all. Prestige looks pretty inviting from the front, with pleasant wood tones and chatty and friendly staff. They did my first ever set of acrylic nails, so I didn't know what to expect. It was fun, but my cuticles were raw and one was cut from the file. I figured it was just part of the gig! My fingers hurt for 3 days after. I went back again for a refill a couple of weeks later, and the guy burnt half my fingers with the drill. I had to keep pulling away and even yelped. Figuring 3rd time lucky, I went back hoping I'd get a different person, but got the same guy, yep, burnt again. I just got clear varnish and my nails are bumpy, with dents and ridges because they don't buff properly. On the plus side, the whole experience encouraged me to buy my own kit and learn how to do them myself. I don't plan on going to a nail bar again. I'll find a good home based artist who cares. Went here for a manicure earlier this year (my second ever salon manicure.) Paid $30 for soft polish and bloody cuticles. They did offer me some free services to make up for it but I was so put off by the experience I haven't been able to bring myself to go back there,  or to another nail salon. Read Less

Let me starts by saying in no way am I a girly girl, I have never been, and never will be! This was my first manicure, and I gotta say, it was a fun experience and I would probably do it again!At first I was unsure, the shop was packed, so I thought it would be a long wait, the hostess told us 10-15 mins. So she took our name and we continued to shop in the centre.When we returned too seats were set up for us, we sat down and were greeted by friendly staff who soaked our nails in a soapy solution, followed by some filing and a hand massage with a lotion of our choice (I got coconut but Mumma got vitamin e), you can choose from 5 shapes for your natural nail, but "Squoval" was the most popular (maybe because it was so much fun to say). The choice of colors are epic! I got black and white mix, and mum got a glittery gold and metallic purple, took maybe 30 mins all up, was a nice pamper session!
