Yes I agree with some of these comments compared to the latest modern and very clean looking nail shops they have now at capalaba. I went in only 4 staff sat morning just to get a manicure they were friendly enough but the girl I had never stop talking to the others and not in English and even then she turned around while still attending to my nails and talked to the other girl.It was rather a very quick and rough job and shall not be going back Read Less

The nail technician was friendly enough. The manager was cold and spoke in Asian to her technicians giving the impression they were talking behind my back. Disgusting manners. I asked for a full set of acrylic nails, french polish, coffin shaped. The technician did a good job. The very next day the acrylic started going yellow though. By the end of the week the were an absolute eyesore. I was embarrassed they were so yellowed. I returned to the salon a week later and explained politely to the manager my concerns and she seemed annoyed as she asked me whether I had been putting water or handcream on my hands, I answered that of course I had. She told me that was why they had turned yellow. I explained that it was absurd that I could not use water or handcream with my nails and that they certainly had never told my that I should not wash or moisturise my hands after their service. The manager was angry I did not accept responsibility for their bad products and sent me to a technician while talking in asian to her in an unpleasant tone. I asked if they would please cover the nails with a colour to cover the yellow and the girl said only if I paid. She proceeded to remove and replace the transparent veneer against my wishes, as I knew it would not resolve the problem. After this I pointed out that they were still yellow, the girl tried to convince me that 1. It was my fault 2. That I should come back in w weeks for refills and they would fix them at my expense. She was extremely rude, dismissive and when I insisted they resolve the issue she again spoke in asian over me to the manager before she was advised to go ahead and paint a colour to hide the discolouration as I had initially asked. An awful experience, hostile, refused to take responsibility for below standard work and I will never return. Read Less

To their credit, I was a walk in appointment with no wait time. That being said nail technicians were extremely rough and left me with leisions on my cuticles. Staff made no effort to communicate with customers at all and were chatting and laughing among themselves which left a bad impression. Will not be going back. Read Less
