Scared to post this as when you find a place as awesome as Beauty Bar Burleigh it’s best to keep it secret if you want to be able to keep your regular appointments. However, moving to the Gold Coast 9 months ago and googling best eyelash extensions GC, I found Elle and her amazing team at BBB. As an eyelash junkie, having moved from Sydney and paying $180 every 3 weeks to have my eyelashes done I was shocked to discover the best eyelash extensions I’ve EVER had done for almost half the price I was used to paying, applied in half the time and they stay beautiful and full for a good 3 weeks. Elle genuinely cares about her clients, remembers exactly how you like your lashes and goes out of her way to make you look your best self! If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have been visiting these wonderful Ladies for just over a year now. I had a previous disaster with my eyelashes and Elle came to my rescue and does an absolute superb job each and every time. What Zoe doesn't know about skin and skin care is probably not worth knowing. I have had a variety of treatments & massages now and am addicted not only to the treatment/massage but the way these ladies make me feel when I come into the salon. I have been visiting Zoe now for several months and she is an absolute godsend! I have been suffering from acne breakouts and sensitive skin for as long as I can remember, and met Zoe at a time when I was feeling particularly low in regard to my skin. I went to the salon on a deal they had on Gumtree for a head of foils, treatment, cut and blow-dry. I walked into the Salon and there was hair still on the ground, very dirty like nothing had been picked up from previous clients. The hairstylist only did a few foils on the top of my head (when i booked my appointment I asked for the full head of foils). and decided to colour my roots which I was nervous about since I said I only get foils on my hair and not my roots coloured. Only a couple of minutes after the colour was on my hair it started burning like crazy, I went to tell the hairstylist however she was busy on the phone for a while and once I got the chance, I asked her to wash it out right away (I think I had the colour on for 5 or 10 mins). The colour was of course horrible because the short amount of time she had the colour on (because my head was on fire and I had no idea why). I asked for a soft colour like more of a brown and the foils came out a bleached orange colour. I tolled her it was way to bright and she said that it is fine, even though it was obviously a bad colour. She then cut my hair and it wasn't much of a cut, only a bit at the ends and then she blow dried my hair. It helped my hair a bit when it was washed however it was still burning, she never seemed to care or have concern about the burning and didn't ask if my head stopped burning afterwords. From this she still charged me $120.00 which is absolutely ridiculous, considering what happened, she should not have charged me despite that amount. I then went home and washed my hair many times to get the burning feeling to stop. So the next day I went to my regular hairdresser and she saved my hair. They did the warmer colour foils in my hair, was very careful of the condition of my hair. They couldn't colour the roots because they didn't want to damage my hair from what had been done. They also put in a treatment and a head message which really helped my scalp, they had to re-cut my hair because the job that was done was just a small trim, had no shape to it. Thank goodness that they saved my hair!! ( Also, when they put the foils in my hair I had NO burning or pain on my scalp, so that makes me wonder of the colouring system (quality of product that they use at Burleigh Beauty Bar) I would never recommend anyone going to get their hair done at Burleigh Beauty Bar, I am sure their other services are fine but do not get your hair done there, it is not worth it. The hairstylist was not considerate of the burning feeling, never even said on what to do to help it, in fact she look annoyed. I should have not been charged that amount (or any amount) considering the burning pain and the bad colour turned out from it, very unprofessional care for a client. Read Less
