Out of all the nail places I’ve been to, the attention to detail is nothing less than perfection, I have had my nails done in ALOT of different salons and I can honestly say there’s none that compare to the skill of the ladies that do my nails. Only problem I’ve encountered is someone actually picking up the phone to take appointments, I’ve been calling all day and left a txt message this morning because I really needed to get my nails done today or tomorrow at latest and have not had any replies, very disappointing as I really don’t want to change nail salons but looks like I will have to if it’s this hard to get into contact with someone (since they don’t do walk ins you have to call) Apart from this I can’t fault them Read Less

I can't believe this place could get anything less than 5 stars. I must be going to a different place to the people on here who have taken the time out to give a place a 1 star "complaint". I have been going to this place since it opened, there has been a cut back in staff due to the amount of foot traffic Bulimba has had lately which makes complete sense from a business owner's point of view. These ladies are so lovely, I don't feel like I am getting my nails done by "staff" but by chilled people who are up for a chat if I initiate it, as some ladies like to sit back and relax in peace. One of my favourite things about the girls is that they are happy to suggest what suits my skin tone/ style and also happy to do what I ask, even if it's wacky and not for everyone. Some of my favourites have been Marble effect in Black and White, Red with huge gemstones on my ring fingers, and Pearl Pink and Silver Ombre effect. The products they use are quality, and best of all, my nails last for ages, I think the longest was 2 months. Best time for a walk in appointment is after the morning rush, early to late afternoons, if you want a morning, book ahead, don't be put off if they can't answer the phone on the first ring, they may be just finishing of a nail. Always got my nails done in Toowong because is close to my work. Last Friday I had to call sick and decided to go for a fill in acrylic + shellac in this nail bar just on the corner of my place. Today is Wednesday and seven of my fingers don’t have nail polish anymore. It all pilled off in 4 days! All the other places that I have done last +3 weeks. Also, I’ve always payed $45 and Nail Fairy Bulimba charged me $50. When I went to Toowong today to show them my nails, the others manicures just laughed and said that is a joke that someone charges for a poor work like that. Not coming back for sure! Read Less
