I went to try this nail salon for the first time on Thursday 14th of June and got SNS on my nails. Everything went very smoothly and the girls were really nice and did a great job. At the end of the process though, they put a gel top and used a UV light to seal everything together, which I though was odd considering I always get SNS and have never seen any other place do it that way.. but I didn’t question it. Then only 3 days later, my SNS actually started to chip (SNS isn’t supposed to chip! If it comes off it’ll come off altogether but will never chip). This was super disapponting so I first tried to call up a few times but couldn’t get though to anyone. The next day I went over there at 3pm but they were closed up and the staff were walking out the door although they are advertised to close at 5pm. They told me to come back tomorrow around noon. The next day I arrived there at 12:20 but they were with a customer and told me to come back again the next day. I said I didn’t mind waiting but they said they need to leave early and won’t have time for me. Again, they are advertised to open until 5pm and it was only noon. So the next day I came back in the morning and finally got a whole new set for free which was nice. I asked to not get the gel top coat as I knew this was the thing that made them chip, however they said they don’t have any other top coat... SNS nails should get SNS coat and not gel so no wonder it chipped. I had to just get the gel coat again considering that’s all they had. Now here I am only 2 days later and my nails are all chipped again! The staff tried to tell me that they chipped because I had been “rough on my nails” because I work in hospitality, but for over a year I have been getting SNS and have always worked in hospitality, and my nails always last at least three weeks with SNS! These lasted me 3 days the first go and only 2 days the second time! The staff are lovely but I have never seen/experienced such bad quality. Both money and time were wasted going back and forth only to be told to come back another time; not worth it.

Eva and Katie have been doing my nails for two years now. Always friendly but professional. Very happy with their work. Highly recommend.

Recently had nails done for my son's wedding and the lovely folk at San Diego Nails were fantastic, they are such fun and do such a good job, better than many other salons I have been too - thank you!!!! The whole experience was relaxing but professional - keep up the good work :-)

I've been here a few times recently for a mani and pedi with normal polish ($50). Unlike many other salons I have NEVER been pushed into making any further purchases, which makes the whole experience more relaxing. I will often make a booking, however bookings do not mean that you will start on time and often you are left waiting however this doesn't really bother me as you are given magazines and allowed to sit in the massage chairs whilst you wait. Finishes are well done, my nails are well looked after and everything is sterilised properly and kept very clean. Would recommend!!

I have gone to San Diego Nails since the opening of the salon. The ladies are doing fantastic nail work! They offer the best customer service and are flexible and very friendly. Cleanliness and sterilisation of their implements are taken seriously and the range of services offered is impressive. Eva does a great job shaping and dying eyebrows, and her relaxation massages are divine. Couldn't be happier.

I LOVE San Diego Nails. I have lost count on how many different places I have gone and been unsatisfied (Germany, UK, US). I don't think I ask for much. I want my nails filled even without rough edges...
I LOVE San Diego Nails. I have lost count on how many different places I have gone and been unsatisfied (Germany, UK, US). I don't think I ask for much. I want my nails filled even without rough edges, all the same length, my cuticles looking good, my polish even, if I choose a design for it to look good, and for the gels to be strong even and not start peeling or chipping within days. San Diego Nails does all these things and more. I have NEVER seen anyone pay such attention to detail as the girls do at San Diego Nails. TRUELY AMAZED & THRILLED with my Nails!!! Definitely worth every penny!

These girls always do such a beautiful job...and are always happy and friendly. I'm really fussy when it comes to pedi's and no other salon I've been to in Brisbane comes close :)

I went to try this nail salon for the first time on Thursday 14th of June and got SNS on my nails. Everything went very smoothly and the girls were really nice and did a great job. I've been here a few times recently for a mani and pedi with normal polish ($50). Unlike many other salons I have NEVER been pushed into making any further purchases, which makes the whole experience more relaxing. I will often make a booking, however bookings do not mean that you will start on time and often you are left waiting however this doesn't really bother me as you are given magazines and allowed to sit in the massage chairs whilst you wait. Finishes are well done, my nails are well looked after and everything is sterilised properly and kept very clean. Would recommend!!

I want my nails filled even without rough edges, all the same length, my cuticles looking good, my polish even, if I choose a design for it to look good, and for the gels to be strong even and not start peeling or chipping within days.
