I have been a client of Charlene's for 4 years now and have followed her from her previous premises to the current studio in Annerley. I have had my lashes done elsewhere but they are never as good nor do they receive the compliments I usually get when I have them done by the girls from Lash Bar. So much so, that I have friends from interstate as well as the US who are desperate to have their lashes done by Charlene and her team when they are next in Brisbane as a result of... them loving my lashes so much! I'm a low maintenance kind of girl (despite what my friends may think!!) and as such, I put little to no effort into my hair and make up each day (tinted moisturiser = a big night out/wedding to give you some idea!!). Having my lashes done makes me feel done up and that's with no effort required from me! If you haven't had them done, I definitely recommend it and Lash Bar is the place to go!! Definitely great value for money and a delightful group of ladies to have a chat with, too. I gave birth to my first son in September. I had an amazing birth experience but due to a wee hiccup afterwards I lost a decent amount of blood which made me feel pretty crappy for the next week. I was in hospital for 4 days recovering from the blood loss. I had my lashes done a few days earlier and it really made a huge difference to how I felt. I lost a lot of colour in my face but I still felt pretty because of my lashes. At one point I fainted in hospital and a number o...f nurses came to assist me. In my passed out state, my sister told me the nurses were all saying "wow! Look at her lashes!!" Haha!! My husband works FIFO and missed the birth. He made it back from work a couple of days after he was born. I couldn't shower or anything before he came to the hospital but having my lashes done made a HUGE difference to how I felt. Ahhhhhhh I absolutely love my new mink eyelash extensions. They're so much better than my last ones. In the past my eyelash extensions have always caused me to want to itch and felt heavy, but Charlene and the team did such an amazing job I can hardly feel them yet they still look amazing!!!
