Sadly I have to agree with most of the reviews. I got in, luckily was not in a hurry, I waited in the pedi chair for no less than than an hour. Having shellac taken off, the girl, rushing, left the remover dripping off my hands for about 45mins of that hour. After the 45mins my fingers foiled I started to feel like they were burning and I had to just take them off myself cos it was getting very uncomfortable. Once I’d taken the foil off I rifled through the colours to pick one till one girl, who was incredibly rude snapped at me for not picking a colour, I quickly responded with the first colour I grabbed. She then clicked her tongue, snatched the colours out of my hands and walked away, leaving myself and woman next to me who watch the whole thing speechless. Once starting the pedicure the water was so hot it burnt my feet but luckily the girl doing my pedicure was quite chatty and helpful. Afterwards I was taken to a table for the shellac colour on my finger nails, the woman doing it was the rude girl from earlier. The whole job was very rushed and messy. On one turn putting my hand into the uv light I bumped my pinky (it happens :p) and I apologised “sorry I bumped one of my nails”. She then proceeded to grab my hand shake her head and snap “no, we can’t fix that!!” And kept on going. Won’t be recommending or going back!! Worst ever experience! Do not go here! I had my toe wrapped in foil to soak off shellac. Waited more than 30 minutes (!!) while she did 2 other customers before she paid attention to me. Then it was a 15 min rush job that ended by her instructing ME to finish off the curing the polish in the LED light while she went to start on another customer!! Are these people for real??!?! Worst experience of my life!! Booked an appointment which was 40mins late! Stuffed my whole day up!!! "Never book an appointment" plus worst rushed job ever and didnt do my acrylic nails properly!! Its been a week and i have 4 cracked off nails!!! They were Soo rude also! They made me pay first and then i was waiting around for someone to paint my nails to the point i had to demand someone to finish the job!!! A 45min job ended up being a 2 hr job!!! I usually feel like nail techs rush to get you in and out, but not here. They really took their time time to make sure I liked the shape, colour and finish. They offer you tea, coffee and a treat. Super lovely salon and I would definetly go back again! Read Less

Look, I wouldn’t say I “hated” it (cheers FB) but we didn’t have a great experience. Nails cut really unevenly, sharp even after being polished and had to come home and file. Bubbles in the gel polish which is so disappointing as I got them done for a wedding. Every time I asked for nail to be filed or polish to be extended down the nail It was not taken well.Read Less

I received a gift voucher for the salon, went there yesterday and it was one of the worst experiences. They wouldn't take a booking, kept us waiting 15min before getting a pedicure chair, another 20 min wait for a technician, another 15 minute wait for manicure was the pedicure was finished. Once seated an extremely rude staff member starting sweeping up around me and going over my newly polished toes whilst maintaining a complete look of distain for anyone who was in the salon. Went to pay with gift voucher and was left standing at the counter while the staff made numerous phone calls to check if it was ok to use the voucher, after 10 minutes waiting at the counter with no explanation was told the voucher was for $60 but the service was $65 - offered my eftpos card but was told I couldn't use for $5. Found $5 cash and was told goodbye - I said my nails hadn't been painted as yet, grudgingly another staff member shuffled out to do my nails. Won't be returning, nor will any one else I know. Have been coming to this nail salon for many years now and staff are very friendly. I often get my nails done by either Dink, Nami or Amy and have built a great report with them! The staff have great relationships with their clients especially Dink, i always see him chatting and laughing with his regular clients and he's always very welcoming. Such amazing service. My partner, his daughter and I had a mani-pedi as a holiday treat. The nails were fantasic, we received bottes of water and chocolate and got to pick a YouTube movie to watch while we waited for our nails to dry. The ladies who looked after us were very friendly and we felt very special. Would recommend. We will be back! Read Less

My friend and I came in on Sunday and Helen took the best care in doing our nails. I've been to multiple nail places over the years and Sensational Nails was the only nail place to take the extensive care that they did. Really disappointed.! Went in there wanted pointed acrylics, they were all different! Different shapes, some not straight, and not the same lengths when compared to the opposite nail. Wouldn't recommend! Would rather go to the mall and get them done.Read Less
