I went to this salon today for the first time. My natural nails are very short and bitten but I have never had a problem getting tips and SNS in the past. The girl who did my nails used tips that were way too wide (actually wider than my fingers themselves) I asked for rounded nails but it looks like I have had pink blutac stuck on the ends of my fingers. She did not trim the cuticles or push them back before starting (I asked her after waiting for her to do it - not sure of her procedure) and she informed me that it would cost extra and I should've asked for a manicure first. What? Never ever has this been the case when I've had the exact same (tips, SNS) done anywhere else. The whole thing hurt, the driller buffer thing was way too aggressive and she seemed to keep it on constantly at maximum power instead of small revs. The underneath of my nails were left really messy and she didn't ask me to wash my hands before the product was put on. She had to fix a whole chunk of SNS that was missing on the side of my ring finger nail... which she did fix but I found it really unprofessional to not have noticed that herself? I have included pics in the comments. A really terrible job and not worth the $65, which is also extremely expensive. I'm from Melbourne and have never paid more than $55. I'm pretty unhappy with the end result, especially considering the cost. Nice looking salon though I guess.

High run recommend this salon when there are three amazing competitors at Westfield Kotara

When I asked if she would kindly scrub a littttle bit more and showed her the areas the girl said "I can not." So apparently that was that...
They were closing soon and took my payment upon arrival and in my opinion this encouraged their total lack of care for the client. Will absolutely return nor recommend unfortunately... horrific, careless job for $40.

Horrible experience. I took my daughters for pedis before our beach trip. Their polish job looked liked the girls painted it. They used plastic shower caps in the bowls and kept exchanging the filter thing. They also used a timer for everything. I wish I could use a timer for how long they were up walking around during the pedicure experience. We will not be back. I didnt complain there because I didn't want to mess up their experience. So sorry we chose this place.

Today was my first experience at Polished. I have been to a couple different salons and found Polished to be the biggest and most comfortable of them. The staff were all very nice and talkative and I love how my acrylics with shellac turned out. My only critique I have is that adding some more colour choices to your selection would be awesome, but it's not going to stop me from coming back :) thankyou for your hard work!

I love relaxing at Get Polished enjoying a pedicure and shilac infills every few weeks. The staff are friendly and welcoming and love to joke with me because I always get my nails painted the same colour every time. I tell them it's Xmas for me all year.

Safe to say I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, to see my sister come home from getting a brow wax with burns on her eyelid is absolutely disgraceful. After going and approaching them and letting them know, all they could say was pretty much here's your refund and got rid of us as fast as they could, may I mention without any apology.

Nice nails. The staff talk chinese to each orther which i hate.... feeling like they talk and laugh about the clients.... the staff cannot even do the nail art that they have on there website....

Unfortunately, just like ur previous review on Tuesday, I am not at all happy with the longevity of ur shellack. For the 3rd time in row, the shellack started peeling off within days of having it done at Get Polished Waratah. I just went into the store to discuss the issue & was told that is 'normal' & I should have come back as soon as it started to happen. Which, if I had time, I would have.

I went to this salon today for the first time. My natural nails are very short and bitten but I have never had a problem getting tips and SNS in the past. The girl who did my nails used tips that were way too wide (actually wider than my fingers themselves) I asked for rounded nails but it looks like I have had pink blutac stuck on the ends of my fingers. I wish I could use a timer for how long they were up walking around during the pedicure experience. We will not be back. I didnt complain there because I didn't want to mess up their experience. Today was my first experience at Polished. I have been to a couple different salons and found Polished to be the biggest and most comfortable of them. The staff were all very nice and talkative and I love how my acrylics with shellac turned out.
