Firstly they made me wait 40 mins for an appointment when they said they would see straight away. They used pliers to take off old gel instead of waiting for it come off with acetone which left a dent in my nail. When they hurt my nail bed for the 3rd time I asked them to be more careful they didn't acknowledge it and just started speaking in their own language. The equipment is filthy. Got gel on my nails and it wiped off by the time I got home and my nails were rough and kept catching in things and chipped off. I returned the following day to ask for a refund and I was asked what I did to my nails and told I couldn't get a refund.Obviously I didn't want to get them redone there again. I normally go to Xpress Nails in Broadway. Though I’ll give this place a try. So this is the first time here. Price - The price is quite standard. $5 more expensive then Xpress Nails. Customer Service - They only spoke amongst themselves in their language and did not even try to ask me how am I today. Just did their job and no hello or goodbye. I’m Vietnamese myself and understood everything they said. Quality - Pretty standard. Gave me the wrong information for the colour. Overall - wouldn’t come back. I would not recommend this salon at all. I have only been once and would never return. I had the worst job of SNS. I had one nail chip after 3 days and then another 3 within 7 days. They tell you that you can have 3 nails repaired for free within 7 days of having them done, that made me question the quality straight away. When I went back in the second time for repairs I told them how unhappy I was. They then told me that the SNS was too thin and that they would only charge me $15 to dip them again! Just had my full leg wax by Hally, and I had to write a review straight away! The service was AMAZING!! She was so gentle and prepped my skim really well beforehand with lotion and powder. She was very quick and so gentle and thorough. After the wax she even went back with tweezers and cleaned up all the residue with oil and a hot oil. Got shellac done here and the lady was in a huge rush. She only put two coats on and did the top coat before asking me if it was good enough... I could see bits of my nail through the polish. The worst customer service I have ever experienced! We called up in advanced twice to ask about the pricing of shellac POLISH for both hands and feet with no buffing no styling. They told us it was $18 each. We make an appointment at 3:15 and get served at 4:20! I wanted infill acrylic with shellac and The lady I had kept getting angry at me as I chose 2 shellac colours that they didn't have INSTOCK. not my fault you don't cross it off... She completely shapes every nail differently from what I asked, makes the acrylic so thick I had to ask to thin it out twice and sharpen it multiple times and after I gave up. Flared and ugly. Waste of $40 and got angry at me because she bumped my nail whilst painting. Ridiculous. My sister had gotten the shellac we asked for $18. We go to the counter and they tried to charge her $25 each hand and feet. We argued after all the aggression from the girl I had and other women for over charging us. I had two really good experiences here. The first time I walked in without appointment to try out SNS, no waiting. My nails looked great, the colour was a little brighter than it looked on the sample but it lasted 4 weeks until one little bit chipped. Compared to shellac this was great! I paid 40$. Went back yesterday to do SNS again, had appointment, no waiting, really fast service. I recommend Mia, she did my nails and I will definitely ask for her again next time! Read Less

I phoned in the morning to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MIDDAY. I arrived at midday, and was told to sit in the chair. It was exactly 12:00 when I checked my phone. At 12:15 (by my phone), no-one had come to me and when the nail tech finished her client, she went to someone else! (I was prepared to give them 15 minutes, but not when she ignored me and went to someone else). I only had one hour to spare so it was too long for me to wait any more.
