Have visited here 3 times. First time I asked for coffin nails, I got fat square nails. I even showed a photo and asked the lady multiple times to make my nails more narrow into the correct shape but I still ended up with square. Shaping nails is the easiest part, I don't unserundun why they can't do it properly? The second time I went was a better experience. I think that lady was the only one that did all the things she was supposed to, even though she was quite rushed through it (despite there only being me and one other person in the salon). The third time was by far the worst. One girl started my nails, then when she was partway through shaping, another girl took over and she was atrocious. She re-did everything the girl before had done, even though they were fine. Again I showed a photo and asked for coffin shape and she gave me square nails! She also took at least 3 tries to get the gel base on (when they should be able to do it in one!) So it took a long time just to get the gel base done. And she got it all over my skin, I've been pulling gel off of my skin ever since. Then she sped through painting my nails and didn't give them enough time to cure, so 3 of my nails have lumps throughout the polish where they haven't been cured enough. She put the top coat on anyway and wouldn't fix the paint job, she just laughed and said "sorry". She also cut me at least 5 times! The gel and paint has also been applied so far down my nail (not near the cuticle at all), so even though it's only been 2 days, my nails look like they've had 2 weeks regrowth! They are also not even the same length on each hand (she didn't bother comparing) so the nail on one of my index fingers is half a cm longer than the other!! Staff are friendly as always but it seems like they have dropped their service standards dramatically. My last visit was not worth the penny. I Have been their customer more than 2 years. At the beginning they were really polite but right now they treat you like they doing it for free. The prices are higher than other nail salons. Appalling service. Went in on a Friday afternoon. Had booked appointment but service was rude and unfriendly. Nails were rushed. By the following day, the shellac was peeling off. When I have had down elsewhere, they normally last up to 2 weeks. I returned on Monday and showed the manager that the nails were peeling and handy lasted even a day and asked if they could fix. The manager was rude and barely looked up from the desk. Zero customer service skills. I asked if I could... come back in. It was like talking to a brick wall. Eventually she agreed that I could. But she was so rude, unfriendly and made me feel totally embarrassed. I've decided that rather than go back in and have to deal with her (even if she fixes for free), I will go elsewhere and never set foot in there again. Shame really as convenient for my work and I would have spent money there regularly. I've spread the word with all the girls at work - and none of us will go there now. First time I ever had my nails done and I am the happiest woman in the world. 😁 The nail tech preformed an outstanding job on my short pealing split nails and the end result is a perfect manicure. The cost was extremely cheap considering if I had to diy my own nails it would not have worked and it would have cost a ton more than it did. I highly recommend this place. If i could give 0 I would..... Really bad service. I had my nails and eyebrows tinted last week and noticed the girl looked worried. When I got home there was tint in my hair and new clothes. I went back today for an apology and for them to own up to their mistake and THEY REFUSED AND WOULD NOT APOLOGIES. When I left the shop i looked back and they were laughing at me. All they needed to do was say Sorry and I would have gone back. I've never seen anyone deal with a customer the way they did. I hope anyone reading this does not step foot in that shop. Absolutely love getting my nails done by Helen and the fab ladies at Sea Nails and Beauty in Chatswood. The service and quality is absolutely perfect! I have never EVER had my nails done as good as here! They come out unconditionally perfect absolutely EVERY time. I could recommend going to visit the salon enough.
