Not as good as the reviews make out. Small bubbles seen throughout my shellac. On the third day, the shellac on my little finger completely fell off. I went back to have that sorted and although Margaret was happy to sort it there and then, it was quite unpleasant. Very knowledgable of her craft but not worth $50. Read Less

My nails are so healthy after visiting her salon, unlike other places I've visited she takes care in how your nails look today AND how healthy they will be three weeks from now. I was vacationing in Sydney from America and because of her great reviews, had Margaret do a shellac manicure for me. I’m very particular and won’t go to just anyone because I’m far from home. I researched the nail professionals in the area and her reviews were excellent. She did an amazing job! Margaret is everything those reviews say about her. Her books were full and she came in early for me. Margaret has the skill and knowledge to do awesome work and does so even though it’s for a single shellac manicure. Now this is my favorite nail salon in Sydney! Margaret (the owner) will do your nails, so you won't have to worry about being assigned an inexperienced technician. The location is convenient, the treatment room is very private (it'll probably be just Margaret and you in the room) and clean. The quality of service is top notch, attention to detail is superb, and she will tell you what she's doing at every step of the way, perfect for inexperienced customers as well as nail gurus. I live near the City and it has been difficult to find a quality place, but I think I found the one! I was amazed by Margaret's knowledge and professionalism. She explained to me in detail every step of the procedure along with what the product does. I carried out a shellac manicure and vinylux pedicure. It was my first time trying vinylux and Margaret advised it's less harmful to the nails, but I think next time I'll stick back to shellac as I feel more comfortable with it. I've been fortunate enough to have known Margaret for over 5 years now, and since our chance meeting the very first time, I have never trusted anyone else to do my nails. Margaret is a true professional: she constantly educates herself on new techniques, only uses the best most reputable products, and she has my nails looking the best they possibly can. I see her every 3 weeks for a manicure, and every 6 weeks for a manicure & pedicure - Summer & Winter. Even if my feet are covered in pantyhose and / or boots through Winter, a regular pedicure takes care of the hard skin that is in unfortunate by-product of wearing heels. You have to plan ahead, but it is well worth it. I recommend Margaret's Nails most highly and would personally guarantee Margaret's professional service. Read Less
