Please do not go to this nail salon. We just moved to Penrith Tried them out. The lady refused to do the shape that I wanted saying my natural nails can not do the shape. I have been doing the same shape for over three years with SNS. Not only did she refused, she yelled at me. I have never been so embraced in my life. I decide to ignore her as I was mid doing my nails. She was squeezing my fingers really hard, used the file machine and nearly cut my flesh. She did not apologise instead, she started speaking to the other staff, with them laughing. I hope they can provide better customer service to others in the future as I am never going there and would recommend other not to. As I am reporting them to fair trading. They need to be shut down. Before sitting down in the chair to get my nails done I asked if they accepted american express and explained I was happy to pay the extra surcharge if needed. They said they would and rushed me to the chair. When it came time to pay, they said I couldn’t use my card because it wouldn’t work on their eftpos terminal which I know for a fact that it would have worked they just didn’t want to pay the merchant fee. I explained that I was fine to pay the extra to cover the fee as I didn’t have any other cards or cash with me and they started abusing me saying they would call security if I didn’t pay. I had to call my partner to meet me at the shop with cash so I could leave. It was so humiliating and I was made to feel like a criminal. All they had to do was turn me away from that start if they didn’t want to take the card. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and the end result of my nails definitely didn’t make up for it. Avoid this place! Read Less

After walking in on a very busy Saturday morning my daughter and I were happy to wait for 20 minutes as directed by the staff member. What we weren’t happy with was how rushed our appointment was when it came to our turn. My spa pedicure was all over in 20minutes and my heels felt in worse condition that when I went in. The nail polish work however was satisfactory. My daughter was in for a buff and gel polish manicure which again was a rushed job. Two of her nails were filed to the skin and she was left with two painful cuts on her fingers just below the nail tip. To add insult to injury my massage chair wasn’t working so I only had around 10 seconds of a back massage. Overall a disappointing experience. I would recommed you give this place a miss if it looks busy especially if you were wanting a pampering experience which this definitely was not. Read Less

Ladies, gents and genderless souls. I highly recommend that you stay away from Pearl Nails at the Penrith Plaza. Just came out of what was supposed to be an infill after an hour and a half. I was ignored by many staff for at least 15 minutes. When I requested my infill they said “we’ll take them off and give you new ones it’s cheaper.” Fine, whatever you can to save me money. She begins to pull my natural nail from the acrylic which I have no issue with until she slides a nail tip in between to remove the acrylic. The first one hurt so I was preparing for the second one when she ripped half of my nail straight up the middle. I asked her to just take them off with acetone, she then looked at the clock and said “that will take longer.” New nails were added and then she started filing down the sides which were actually glued to my finger. Without trying to separate the two, she just continued to file, leaving me with five cuts all on different fingers. Uneven lengths and shapes on every finger, lint stuck in my nails and polish all over my fingers. The pain was so bad that I couldn’t even let her buff my other hand. $50 later I’m left with hands that look like they belong to two different people. Avoid the pain and pain of losing money and find somewhere else to go. Read Less
