I just got my nails done yesterday afternoon, I got shellac done and already all of the paint on the pinky nail came off, I also have a bubble under another nail and am not impressed with the quality of the nails my design is bumpy and poorly done on my one finger. First time here, by far the best place to get your nails done, I love the atmosphere, very inviting and comfortable, they make you feel very welcome there. I once used a beautician who described the time I spent with her as 'pampering' time. That's all very well when it's an indulgent facial or a relaxing massage, but most of my visits involved hair removal. Now anyone who has explored the dubious pleasures of waxing will know that there is nothing 'pampered' about it. Quick, efficient, and readily forgotten are my pre-requisites. If that's what you're after too, this is your waxer of choice. Making bookings is a bit of a mystery - whenever I've tried, they accept my booking but rarely ask for my name, so I am puzzled how they know who to expect or when, but they always seem to be free when I arrive, appointment or not. This is another mystery, as the salon - which also does full nail services - is usually busy. Definitely worth dropping in when the leg fuzz gets too much. Mani-pedi's are also quick, which is great if you're in a hurry, but a bit more TLC would be nice when you're not. Read Less

I had serious issues the first time I had a pedicure. Not sure if it's some sort of latent rejection of colonialism but I just don't like the feeling of having someone doing things for me. Worse still, someone sat at my feet, charged with the grim task of shaving my hard skin whilst I read a magazine. I just don't feel important enough for that but I've got used to it.  I'm a brave girl. I think my experiences with 'Mosman Nail and Waxing' have played a part in making me enjoy pedicures. Yes, the girls are Asian, so therefore giggle and whisper in tongue foreign to me but at least their happy. I've been to other places where the banter between the workers feels very pointed to the customer but not so here.  They ladies there are all delightful and that's proven by the obvious number of regulars.With OPI polishes they do a good job and it's reasonably priced at too.  One bad experience with a French polish on my toes that made me look like Princess Fiona on prom night hasn't even put me off.
